Vocational rehabilitation training plan and revision data for AI
A provider may change the format of an instructional activity while the original task goal remains the same.

A provider may change the format of an instructional activity while the original task goal remains the same. Federal vocational rehabilitation regulations describe individualized employment planning. A provider can create a fictional example to test whether software retrieves the current training instruction without evaluating a person. Federal vocational rehabilitation planning rules
Write a dummy work-sample task about arranging blank folders. Approve a revised instruction format and keep a draft of a different change. Ask which version applies and whether the goal changed. Have a reviewer score the instructional change and supporting approval independently.
Exclude actual disability data, client plans, performance scores, employer records and participant footage. Use original materials and keep employment, eligibility and accommodation decisions with qualified people.

A revised instruction format can preserve the original task goal
A dummy folder-sorting activity uses independently written instruction cards. It contains no client, disability, performance score, employer record or employment decision.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| VT1 | Original task T1 | Goal: arrange blank folders A, B and C in alphabetical order. Instruction version I1 is a paragraph. |
| VT2 | Approved revision I2 | Same T1 goal, instructions reformatted into three numbered steps with original drawings. Approval explicitly changes format only. |
| VT3 | Draft I3 | Proposes sorting by folder color and changing the goal. Unsigned and not approved; no participant performance supplied. |
Question for the model
Which instruction version is currently approved, and did its adoption change the task goal or establish a person's performance?
Show the reference answer and checks
VT2 identifies I2 as the approved instruction revision for T1, changing presentation to numbered illustrated steps while explicitly retaining alphabetical order. VT3's color-sorting goal remains an unapproved draft and does not replace it. No record establishes any person's task performance. Preserve goal and format as separate fields rather than infer an accommodation decision, ability judgment or employment outcome from the existence of revised instructions.
- Treating a format-only revision as a changed task objective.
- Applying an unapproved goal or inferring participant ability from an instruction document.
Fields to preserve
- Task and goal version
- Defines the objective.
- Instruction format and revision approval
- Limits the change.
- Draft status and absent performance evidence
- Prevents unsupported person-level conclusions.
Test another case
Approve a later goal change with its own effective date. Require both goal and instruction versions to be selected by the exercise cutoff.
Use original blank-folder materials. Exclude participant footage and client plans; qualified people retain accommodation, employment and eligibility decisions.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
