Truckload appointment records for AI review
A facility can change a delivery appointment without the carrier’s earliest message being updated.
NAICS 484121 · General Freight Trucking, Long-Distance, Truckload
A facility can change a delivery appointment without the carrier’s earliest message being updated. A missing tracking point adds uncertainty. Scale AI publicly lists freight brokerage and third-party logistics in its data partnership program, and FMCSA distinguishes logging-device diagnostic events from ordinary records. Use a simulation to test schedule reconciliation without reusing regulated driver logs. Scale AI Data Partnerships · FMCSA ELD diagnostic FAQ
Create a load with an original appointment and a verified revision. Make tracking unavailable during a short interval. Provide a receiving record with its own time. Ask which window was in force, what actually happened, and whether the tracking gap changes what is known. In a second exercise, withhold the facility’s confirmation so the model must qualify its answer.
Use no driver logs, locations, customer identities, contract terms, access credentials, or active routes. Ask a carrier reviewer to check the fictional event sequence. Keep scheduling and regulatory judgments outside the task.

A tracking gap does not erase an independently documented receiving event
An offline load fixture uses abstract appointment windows and no driver log, position, customer, contract or actual transport-system record.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| TLAP1 | Appointment records | Load L original window W1. Facility-approved revision explicitly replaces W1 with W2 from day 2; carrier's old message still quotes W1. |
| TLAP2 | Tracking interval | Simulated tracking samples missing during interval G. No source for location during G and no explanation establishing a regulated device event. |
| TLAP3 | Receiving evidence | Facility acknowledgment independently names L/day 2 and observed receipt time T within W2. No claim about the path during G. |
Question for the model
Which window was in force and what receipt is documented, and does the missing tracking interval invalidate either source?
Show the reference answer and checks
TLAP1's facility-approved revision selects W2 for day two despite the carrier's stale W1 message. TLAP3 independently documents receipt of L at T within W2. TLAP2 leaves location during G unknown, but does not negate those separate appointment and receiving records. Preserve the gap without inventing a route, delay cause or device diagnosis, and distinguish a fictional missing sample from any regulatory logging conclusion.
- Using an old carrier message over an explicit facility appointment revision.
- Treating missing tracking as proof of a route event or as invalidation of independently confirmed receipt.
Fields to preserve
- Load and appointment version
- Defines the schedule.
- Facility approval and effective date
- Supports authority.
- Tracking missingness and independent receipt
- Separates evidence sources.
Test another case
Remove the facility's revision approval while retaining W2 as a proposal. Require the current-window claim to become qualified even if receipt time is still documented.
Use synthetic events checked by a carrier reviewer. Exclude actual logs, routes and access credentials; scheduling and regulatory decisions remain with staff.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
