Local freight delivery records for AI exception review
A stop can have a delivery timestamp while part of the order remains unresolved.

A stop can have a delivery timestamp while part of the order remains unresolved. Scale AI lists freight brokerage and third-party logistics in its operational data partnership program. GS1’s event guidance offers a way to represent shipment steps. A local carrier can propose a narrow exercise about matching accepted quantities and exceptions. Scale AI Data Partnerships · GS1 EPCIS implementation guideline
Give the model a fictional stop record, three handling units, and a proof-of-delivery summary. Mark two accepted and the third refused or unresolved. Add a later message that corrects only one field. Ask which units were accepted and which evidence a dispatcher needs to resolve the remaining item. Distinguish the customer’s acknowledgment from a generic timestamp.
Use invented locations and quantities. Omit delivery photos showing addresses or people, customer names, signatures, rates, and routes. Check which data the carrier, shipper, and consignee can authorize.
Describe a local delivery sample
Original Fiund exercise
A stop timestamp does not mean every handling unit was accepted
An original local-delivery fixture uses invented stops, quantities and unit aliases. It contains no address, photograph, person, signature, rate or route.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| LDX1 | Stop manifest | Stop S, handling units A, B and C under shipment H. Generic arrival/delivery timestamp 10:00. |
| LDX2 | Customer acknowledgment | Original mock record explicitly accepts H/A and H/B; C refused with reason code REVIEW. No completed C resolution supplied. |
| LDX3 | Later correction | Corrects stop S contact-role spelling only. Explicitly leaves handling-unit acceptance and C exception unchanged. |
Question for the model
Which units are accepted, and do the generic timestamp or later correction resolve C?
Show the reference answer and checks
LDX2 explicitly supports acceptance of A and B and a refusal requiring review for C. LDX1's generic stop timestamp does not override that unit-level exception. LDX3 changes an administrative spelling field and expressly preserves the acceptance states. Report two accepted units and C's unresolved disposition, identifying the need for a matching resolution or new acknowledgment rather than describing the entire shipment as accepted.
- Treating a stop-level delivery timestamp as acceptance of every unit.
- Promoting an unrelated administrative correction into resolution of a quantity or refusal exception.
Fields to preserve
- Stop, shipment and handling unit
- Defines event scope.
- Accepted/refused state and acknowledgment
- Supports unit-level status.
- Correction scope and missing resolution
- Preserves the exception.
Test another case
Add a corrected acknowledgment accepting C but referencing another stop. Require the stop mismatch to remain before closing S's exception.
Use original fictional records. Exclude customer details and proof-of-delivery media; carrier, shipper and consignee rights require separate review.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
