Fabricated glass data for AI layer and cut-record review

Purchased glass can undergo cutting, lamination or other fabrication before delivery.

NAICS 327215 · Glass Product Manufacturing Made of Purchased Glass

Purchased glass can undergo cutting, lamination or other fabrication before delivery. SGCC publishes certification-program information for safety glazing. That provides context for a document task that keeps the recorded product and supporting evidence aligned. SGCC program FAQ

Create a fictional glass-order drawing, a layer schedule and an executed cut record. Use transparent sheets as props with clearly marked faces. Reverse the outer face in one assembly and include a certificate index referring to a different construction. Ask the assistant to identify the documented mismatch and the evidence missing for the current article. A similar thickness should not establish identical construction.

Annotate source sheet, fabrication event, layer order, face and document reference. Evaluation can use a new shape and renamed layer materials. Score wrong-construction matches, reversed faces and unsupported certification claims independently. The review key should compare the supplied exercise evidence without issuing a safety or installation decision.

Use neutral mock references rather than authentic certification marks. Real customer glazing schedules, licensed drawings and laboratory documents need appropriate permission and specialist review. Describe the configuration-evidence task to prospective buyers. Their accepted requirements should determine the capture methods and record depth needed for any larger licensing package.

Part IDs survive cutting; a layer mark may not

Colored paper layers represent a fictional fabricated glass panel without real glass or specifications.

Fictional records supplied to the evaluator
RecordSourceWhat it records
1Parent diagramPanel A has a layer mark crossing the cut between child 1 and 2.
2Cut logBoth children retain A as parent; IDs A1 and A2.
3Child photosA1 and A2 each show one partial layer mark.

Question for the model

Can either child carry an intact mark annotation?

Show the reference answer and checks

No. Record 1 places the mark across the boundary, and record 3 shows partial segments on both children. Record 2 supplies common lineage but does not make either mark intact. Store the observed partial segments with their individual child IDs.

  • Treating parent mark as inherited intact
  • Assigning both photos to one child because the mark matches

Fields to preserve

parent_panel_id
Tracks pre-cut lineage
child_part_id
Keeps post-cut images distinct
mark_coverage
Distinguishes a fragment from a complete mark

Test another case

Move the cut beyond the mark and require one intact and one absent label with corresponding views.

No actual glass layup, safety ratings, customer dimensions or fabrication parameters.

Discuss a contribution

Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
