Electronic component data for AI crystal and test references
Other electronic components include varied articles, so a useful dataset should name its specific product.

Other electronic components include varied articles, so a useful dataset should name its specific product. The Census manual provides scope. An original crystal-unit exercise can connect component identity with a recorded test condition and version. Census electronic-component scope
Create fictional crystal-unit references, a specimen register and test tables. Give two results different explicitly stated conditions. Ask the assistant which observation answers the selected request. Include a product-family card beside the specimen report and a corrected unit identifier in a later version. The key should preserve the effective correction and the test's stated scope.
Annotate component, specimen, property, unit, condition and document version. Hold out a new naming convention and table layout for evaluation. Score general reference values used as specimen evidence, wrong-condition comparisons and use of the superseded identifier independently. Supply any intended arithmetic rule in the exercise.
Use self-authored records and invented readings. Customer designs, proprietary production information, licensed methods and outside calibration reports need authority for the intended AI use. Describe the evidence-selection task and qualified key in the licensing brief. Confirm buyer scope before preparing additional operating history or capture.

A reference change invalidates a raw comparison
Fictional crystal-unit cards report offsets in arbitrary units. There are no actual frequency or operating specifications.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Reference table | Reference R2 is 4 units above R1. |
| 2 | Test A | Unit X reports +2 relative to R1. |
| 3 | Test B | Unit Y reports −1 relative to R2. |
Question for the model
Which reading is higher when both are expressed relative to R1?
Show the reference answer and checks
Y is +3 relative to R1 after adding the 4-unit R2 offset to −1. X remains +2 in that frame. Use records 1–3 together, and retain both original references because the raw signs alone would suggest the opposite order.
- Comparing signed offsets without their references
- Assuming a negative local value remains negative after normalization
Fields to preserve
- reference_id
- Identifies the local zero
- raw_offset
- Preserves the reported value
- reference_transform
- Supports a common comparison
Test another case
Use an R2 reference value documented for a different time interval; require applicable reference evidence before normalizing.
No actual crystal specs, oscillator design, calibration or performance claims.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
