Labelbox offers data tooling and describes Alignerr as its expert network. Labelbox’s product announcements distinguish working through its data platform from using Alignerr Connect to find experienced experts. Decide whether you need a workspace, a managed output or access to specialized people before comparing quotes. Alignerr Expert Network · Alignerr Connect announcement

Inspect one evaluation workflow

For a multimodal model evaluation, give the same video and rubric to two reviewers. Check reviewer agreement, timecode accuracy, escalation and how the resulting judgments export. Ask whether review events and rubric revisions are available along with the final labels. Compare tool access, workforce cost and quality review as separate parts of the quote.

Keep the dataset rights explicit

Clarify whether the assets are buyer-supplied, newly collected, or licensed from a third party. Set permitted access for each reviewer and define ownership of annotations and evaluation outputs. Contributors should read the actual task agreement and compensation terms. A platform or expert listing does not establish recurring assignments.

An original platform-and-reviewer comparison

For a fictional five-clip evaluation, require reviewers to mark the time interval supporting each judgment. Revise one rubric definition midway through a disposable calibration set and ask how the platform connects old and new judgments to their instruction versions. The test concerns traceability, rather than which interface looks most polished.

Compare an individual judgment, a second review and an adjudicated result. Ask which events export and how a buyer can distinguish an unreviewed label from a final accepted output. Keep reviewer agreement separate from agreement with an independently established reference.

Buy the part of the workflow you need

A platform workspace, expert access and a managed delivered dataset involve different responsibilities. Write down who supplies the source material, authors the task, recruits qualified reviewers, resolves disputes and accepts the final artifact. Ask which of those items are included in a proposed engagement.

A contributor should verify the role’s current offer and allowed use of work product. A buyer should set reviewer access to the exact source and confirm that annotations and rationales can be retained for the intended model work. An expert-network description does not convey rights to unrelated client files or guarantee recurring tasks.
