Read the evidence behind the verdict

Each review names the service or participation path, explains the practical trade-offs, and gives the reader a concrete question to resolve before signing, ordering or recording.

Name the relationship

A provider can offer a catalog to a model builder, a licensing partnership to a business and paid projects to individuals. We identify the relevant path before discussing price, rights or compensation. The Scale AI review and the Outlier compensation guide show how these questions differ.

Separate evidence from claims

Product pages establish what a provider publicly offers or describes. Terms, contributor help and sample specifications can answer narrower questions. Research can demonstrate a method under the conditions described by its authors. We label fictional exercises as such and disclose the basis of the review.

For example, our Troveo review distinguishes a creator’s upload from a licensed transaction and the payment conditions described in Troveo’s help center. A reader can follow that source and then ask how the selected clips and earnings are recorded.

Check the terms that decide the outcome

Buyers should compare the same source population, accepted unit, sample, review process and permitted uses. Contributors should identify who can authorize the files, what counts as accepted work and when compensation becomes due. The vendor diligence worksheet provides a common brief for comparing proposals.

Updates, interests and corrections

Fiund operates an AI data licensing business and competes with some of the companies covered. We identify that relationship on reviews. The date on a review is the date associated with its editorial evidence. Verify current terms directly with the provider before committing.

If a source moved or a claim needs a correction, contact Fiund with the page title, the specific passage and a supporting source.
