Centific offers managed data collection and annotation alongside a dataset marketplace. OneForma is its contributor platform. A buyer with a defined coverage gap should compare a scoped collection with available catalog samples. An individual looking for tasks should start with the project requirements on OneForma. Test the coverage gap before ordering volume

For a multilingual support assistant, specify which language varieties, code-switching patterns and acoustic conditions cause failures. Ask for a sample with the speaker and recording categories the buyer is allowed to see. Reserve a few scenario families for evaluation. Request a coverage table by accepted units and ask whether collection, annotation and rework are billed separately. Centific annotation · Data marketplace

Match rights to the source

A commissioned task and an existing corpus may have different collection notices, owner permissions and downstream license limits. Ask who recruited the contributors, which uses were authorized, and what evidence comes with each delivered cohort. OneForma project eligibility, payment and work availability depend on the terms of the actual offer.

Use a coverage matrix for multilingual work

An original pilot for a support assistant could include quiet single-language speech, code-switching, accented product names and overlapping speakers. Put those in separate sample categories. Reserve complete speakers and scenario families for evaluation so neighboring recordings do not expose the answer across splits.

Ask which categories are already represented and which require a new collection. A language label alone does not establish channel, regional variety, vocabulary or recording-condition coverage. Track accepted examples per category and record where the reference transcript or annotation was checked. An average result across an easy majority can obscure the difficult category that motivated the purchase.

Separate the managed-service and OneForma decisions

A buyer should request a specimen package containing original files, source metadata, annotation conventions and the acceptance procedure. Identify whether linguistic review, recruitment, transcription and replacement are included. Ask how changes to the instructions affect already collected material and the quote.

An individual evaluating a OneForma project needs the offer’s eligibility, qualification, work availability and payment terms. Passing a qualification is separate from receiving work. An organization with an existing archive should ask about the appropriate ownership and licensing process rather than assuming that an individual task account authorizes a company-data transfer.
