Woodworking and paper machinery data for AI roll-layout review

This machinery category serves several material processes.

NAICS 333243 · Sawmill, Woodworking, and Paper Machinery Manufacturing

This machinery category serves several material processes. The Census manual defines its scope. An original machine-module exercise can make the task precise through a supplied layout and documented component identities. Census woodworking and paper machinery scope

Draw a fictional roll-module arrangement with numbered positions and use paper cylinders as props. Supply a component register and an executed assembly traveler. Put two visually similar rolls in reversed positions in one case. Ask the assistant to compare the assembly with the issued drawing. Include a mirrored service view labeled from the opposite side.

Annotate position, reference side, component, drawing revision and evidence view. Hold out a new layout for evaluation. Score side reversal, a position inferred from appearance alone and use of an outdated layout independently. The key should state which identifier or view establishes the component's location, without deriving a process setting or machine-performance result.

Use original drawings and inert props. Customer production layouts, licensed designs and proprietary equipment records need permission for their intended AI use. A licensing proposal should describe the position-review task and checked examples. Establish buyer requirements before preparing commercial files or commissioning more capture.

Question for the model

Which position disagrees with the layout?

Show the reference answer and checks

P2 differs: record 1 expects R2 while record 2 shows R4. P1 and P3 match. Record 3 confirms R2 is listed as a spare, but that does not make it the installed roll. Keep inventory and position assignment separate.

  • Treating stocked parts as installed
  • Checking a list of types without matching positions

Fields to preserve

position_id
Determines the layout slot
installed_serial
Records the physical instance
inventory_state
Distinguishes installed and spare

Test another case

Use a temporary documented substitution at P2 with an expiration event; compare the correct time slice.

No actual machine layouts, roll dimensions, paper process parameters or maintenance advice.

Discuss a contribution

Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
