Turbine manufacturing data for AI module and test configuration
Turbines and turbine-generator sets have a defined Census manufacturing scope.
NAICS 333611 · Turbine and Turbine Generator Set Units Manufacturing
Turbines and turbine-generator sets have a defined Census manufacturing scope. An original task can connect a completed unit's module configuration with the test record actually supplied. Census turbine-manufacturing scope
Create fictional module serial references, a completed-unit register and two test reports. Add an original blade-row diagram with root and tip sample locations marked for the exercise. One report concerns a root-location specimen from module M1. A second concerns a tip-location specimen from another module. Ask which report answers the selected module-and-location request. Include a similarly numbered blade in a neighboring row so the position must remain explicit.
Record the row, blade reference, sample location and viewing side alongside the module identity. A completed-unit serial alone cannot identify the specimen. Evaluate with a rotated row diagram and an unfamiliar numbering sequence. Count wrong-row joins, root and tip interchanged, and a result attached to an unlinked specimen separately. A complete comparison should point to the exact location and report identifier that resolve it.
Use self-authored tables and invented values without operating equipment. Customer designs, proprietary performance data, licensed methods and outside inspection reports require appropriate authority and specialist review. A licensing brief should identify the configuration-history task and checked examples. Establish buyer requirements before preparing commercial operating histories or commissioning capture.

A swapped module changes the evidence scope
Paper serial cards represent a fictional machine assembly. No operating points, design or performance are given.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Build register | Unit U5 contained module M8 for event A; M9 installed before event B. |
| 2 | Report 1 | Event A, U5/M8; review complete. |
| 3 | Report 2 | Event B, U5/M9; report status draft. |
Question for the model
Which review state applies to the current configuration?
Show the reference answer and checks
Report 2 is the current configuration's linked record because event B uses M9 under records 1 and 3. It is still draft. Report 1 remains completed evidence for the earlier M8 build and cannot change the draft state of M9.
- Joining on the unit serial alone
- Treating draft report presence as completed review
Fields to preserve
- module_serial
- Distinguishes build states
- test_event_id
- Links the exact configuration
- report_status
- Separates draft from reviewed evidence
Test another case
Include a later report revision that changes only status and retain earlier state in as-of snapshots.
No real turbine design, test procedures, performance values, operation or suitability claims.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
