A warehouse can receive similar tire sizes with different load designations or product classes. NHTSA explains markings and tire information. A distributor can test whether a model separates visible markings from attributes supported only by a receiving record. NHTSA tire guidance

Draw original mock sidewalls and two corresponding pallet cards. Give one delivery an item count and crop a distinguishing mark from another photo. Ask what the receiving team can confirm and which stock entry needs review. Grade the evidence used for size and designation separately.

Use original artwork and dummy stock references. Keep actual customer schedules, supplier prices and live operations out. Keep real fitment decisions with qualified staff.

Describe a fictional tire receiving sample

Original Fiund exercise

A pallet count cannot supply a distinguishing sidewall mark cropped from the image

Two original sidewall drawings and pallet cards use invalid stock labels. No real tire, client schedule, supplier price, fitment or live receiving process appears.

Fictional records supplied to the evaluator
RecordSourceWhat it records
TWS1Pallet AReceipt confirms six dummy tires T-A. Matched readable drawing shows size S and load-style designation L1.
TWS2Pallet BReceipt confirms four under pallet B, but exact variant field blank. Cropped image shows S; distinguishing designation obscured.
TWS3Stock draftAssigns all ten to T-A/L1 from common size S. Separate catalog lists T-B with S and L2; no exact B identity link.

Question for the model

Which quantities and attributes can be confirmed, and does B's count or visible size justify the draft stock class?

Show the reference answer and checks

TWS1 supports six exact T-A records with visible S and L1. TWS2 supports four received under pallet B and its visible size S, but no verified designation or variant. TWS3 cannot assign those four to T-A or T-B because both share S and the distinguishing field is cropped. Preserve the receiving count and uncertain stock class separately rather than call all ten one variant or infer actual fitment.

  • Applying a readable designation to a different pallet sharing its size.
  • Treating a received count as proof of the item-level stock class.

Fields to preserve

Pallet and exact stock variant
Defines receipt scope.
Count, readable size and designation
Separates evidence.
Cropped field and source gap
Limits classification.

Test another case

Add B's full sidewall showing L2 with no stock reference. Require visible designation to resolve while exact catalog association still needs review.

Use original drawings and dummy stock IDs. Exclude actual operations and orders; qualified staff retain fitment and safety decisions.
