Racetrack result notice revision data for AI

A venue announcement can report a provisional result before an authorized record changes it.

A venue announcement can report a provisional result before an authorized record changes it. FIA public event documents illustrate that decisions and results have specific issuers and timestamps. A track can make an entirely artificial revision exercise without actual race footage or betting information. FIA event decision documents example

Invent two event rounds and a public practice notice. Give one an official revised result and the other an unconfirmed announcement. Ask which records support each version at the given time. Include one correction that changes only a field, so the model cannot simply replace the whole event.

Keep real entrants, market or betting data, timing system settings, records of incidents and venue security private. Use invented results and no settlement decision.

Describe a result version sample

A field correction does not replace every result in the event

Artificial rounds and neutral result labels test public-notice provenance. No betting, entrants, footage, timing-system settings or actual competition result is represented.

Fictional records supplied to the evaluator
RecordSourceWhat it records
RR1Provisional practice noticeRound A: category C label First, category D label Second. Round B announcement unconfirmed.
RR2Authorized revision at 14:00Round A category C corrected to Revised. Category D explicitly unchanged.
RR3Copied announcement at 15:00Repeats Round A's earlier First label. No authority overrides RR2; no final Round B record supplied.

Question for the model

Which current Round A fields are supported after 14:00, and does the later copy establish a final Round B result or reverse the revision?

Show the reference answer and checks

RR2 changes Round A category C to Revised while retaining category D as Second under RR1. RR3 is a later copy of older content, not an authorized reversal. Round B remains an unconfirmed announcement with no final record supplied. Preserve issuer, revision time and field-specific scope rather than replacing the whole event or treating publication recency as final authority.

  • Changing untouched category D when applying the category-C revision.
  • Selecting a stale copied announcement over the named authorized correction.

Fields to preserve

Round and category
Makes a correction local to its target field.
Provisional versus authorized source
Defines the evidentiary state.
Revision and republication time
Distinguishes changed content from a later copy.

Test another case

Ask the Round A question before 14:00, then add a separate Round B authorization. Require time- and round-specific answers without a settlement or betting conclusion.

Use fictional notices and labels. Exclude entrants, market data, betting, incident records, timing-system configuration and venue security.

Discuss a contribution

Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
