Public relations statement and correction records for AI
A press pitch may circulate before an agency issues a correction or the client approves revised language.

A press pitch may circulate before an agency issues a correction or the client approves revised language. PRSA’s ethics resources address accuracy and communications responsibilities. An agency can test whether software quotes the supported public statement and preserves the scope of a correction. PRSA ethics resources
Write an original release for a fictional venue. Change a date in a signed correction and add a draft with an unrelated claim. Ask which details are cleared for use and which source supports each. Include an earlier forwarded copy to see whether the model recognizes it as superseded.
Keep actual embargoes, client plans, media contact databases and crisis files out. Clear any source quotations separately. Keep publication and response decisions with the agency.

Original Fiund exercise
A date correction leaves an unrelated capacity claim unapproved
A fictional venue called Paper Lantern Hall has an original release, a narrow approved correction and an unfinished draft. No real client plan, embargo or media contact is involved.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| PR1 | Approved release R1 | Public opening listed as day 14; text describes a workshop room without stating attendance capacity. |
| PR2 | Approved correction C1 | For R1, replace opening day 14 with day 16. Other wording unchanged. Approved for publication. |
| PR3 | Draft R2 and forwarded copy | Unapproved R2 says capacity 800. A forwarded R1 copy still shows day 14 and predates C1. |
Question for the model
Which opening date is supported for a current summary, and is the 800-person capacity claim cleared by the correction?
Show the reference answer and checks
PR2 explicitly replaces R1's day 14 with day 16, so cite C1 for the current opening date. PR3's forwarded copy retains superseded date text. The 800-person claim appears only in unapproved R2; C1 changes a date and supplies no capacity approval. A source-backed summary can describe the workshop room from PR1 while holding the new numerical claim for agency review.
- Choosing the most recently forwarded copy instead of the controlling approved correction.
- Treating a narrow correction as blanket approval of another draft's additional claims.
Fields to preserve
- Release identity and approval state
- Separates cleared statements from draft content.
- Correction target and changed field
- Defines the amendment's reach.
- Supersession and circulation date
- Prevents recirculated old language from regaining authority.
Test another case
Introduce a later unsigned email proposing day 17. Require the summary to retain day 16 and identify the new proposal's unresolved approval.
Use original fictional statements. Exclude embargoed material, contact lists and crisis files; publication decisions remain with the agency.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
