Professional training examples for evaluating AI coaching
An adult training exercise can show the difference between an answer that sounds plausible and feedback that actually helps.

An adult training exercise can show the difference between an answer that sounds plausible and feedback that actually helps. Scale’s expert program is one example of companies engaging domain specialists for model training and evaluation. A professional training firm can test demand for a commissioned, role-played exercise with a rubric and documented rights. Scale expert programs
Turn an exercise into an evaluation case
Write one fictional scenario that the trainer owns and can authorize. Record an adult participant’s response and an instructor’s feedback. Supply the learning objective, expected observations, error categories and a scoring rubric. For a management course, the task might ask an AI coach to identify when a supervisor skipped confirming expectations and propose feedback that stays inside the facts of the scenario.
Have two trainers independently score a small set, compare disagreements and revise unclear criteria. Hold back a second scenario to test whether the coach transfers the rubric to new material. A buyer may request text and scores without any raw video. Decide the required asset before collecting.
Create a separate sample from student records
Use recruited adults, permissioned curriculum and fictional organization details. Review rights in client-owned teaching material, prior course licenses, recording permissions and confidentiality. Do not repurpose school records or recordings made for a different purpose without a specific rights and privacy review. Where FERPA applies, start with the institution’s process for education record disclosure. U.S. Department of Education on student privacy and data sharing
Send the learning objective and a sample rubric. Explain who created the material, who can authorize use and whether you can commission a new performance. Describe your dataset
Original Fiund exercise
Evaluate a role-play response against an original rubric
A fictional adult role-play concerns confirming a work expectation. It uses independently authored dialogue and evaluates an example response, not a real employee.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| RUBRIC-T1 | Original training rubric | A complete practice response must confirm the requested deliverable and ask for the missing due date before giving a completion plan. |
| PROMPT-T2 | Fictional scenario | A request names a deliverable but supplies no due date or evidence about the colleague's motives. |
| ANSWER-T3 | Practice response | The speaker proposes a due date and calls the colleague careless without asking a clarifying question. |
| REVIEW-T4 | Independent reference | The reviewer flags the invented deadline, missing clarification and unsupported motive judgment. |
Question for the model
Which rubric conditions does T3 fail, and which observations should the evaluator avoid inventing?
Show the reference answer and checks
T3 does not ask for the missing due date and substitutes a proposed deadline for confirmed information. It also adds a negative motive claim unsupported by T2. Cite those specific response features and the rubric. The evidence supports evaluation of the authored answer, rather than a judgment about any real person's work, character or employment outcome.
- Rewarding a polished completion plan while ignoring the required clarification.
- Treating an unsupported motive claim as a fact from the scenario.
Fields to preserve
- Learning objective and rubric
- Preserve the exact criteria used to review the response.
- Allowed scenario evidence
- Keep missing facts explicit.
- Response and rationale
- Connect each judgment to quoted or identified response features.
- Reviewer disagreement
- Record independent labels and how unclear criteria are resolved.
Test another case
Write a second original scenario whose due date is supplied but deliverable scope is missing. The clarifying question should change with the evidence.
Use recruited consenting adults and original curriculum. Exclude actual students, employee evaluations, client material and confidential workplace records. No real employment or educational decision is made.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
