Port container availability records for AI review
A container can be physically present at the port and still unavailable for pickup.
NAICS 488310 · Port and Harbor Operations
A container can be physically present at the port and still unavailable for pickup. The Port of Los Angeles publishes a cargo operations dashboard, and U.S. DOT’s FLOW initiative describes information that can improve freight visibility. A port or terminal can design a fictional readiness exercise that asks an assistant to explain which condition is still missing. Port of Los Angeles cargo dashboard · U.S. DOT FLOW program
Give one training container a discharge event, a pending documentation status, and a later gate appointment. Give another a valid release with no available slot. Ask whether each is ready under a supplied set of mock requirements. Capture the issuing organization, time, and scope for every event. The model should report the reason for any unresolved status.
Keep commercial cargo and parties, customs data, facility access details, real equipment positions, and active schedules outside the sample. Confirm partner ownership before exporting any operational information.
Describe a terminal data sample
Original Fiund exercise
Physical presence, document release and an appointment slot are independent readiness conditions
Two fictitious containers follow an original three-condition rubric. It is an inert records exercise with no real customs data, port position, access detail or pickup instruction.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| PCA1 | Practice readiness rule | A review packet is complete only when discharge, valid document release and a matching appointment are all confirmed for the same container and date. |
| PCA2 | Container A | Discharge confirmed. Document release pending. Later appointment confirmed for A/day 2; no release completion. |
| PCA3 | Container B | Discharge and valid day-2 release confirmed. No appointment slot record; A's appointment appears as an unrelated attachment. |
Question for the model
Which rubric condition is missing for each container, and can either be called fully ready from these records?
Show the reference answer and checks
Under PCA1, A lacks confirmed document release despite discharge and its own appointment in PCA2. B lacks an appointment despite discharge and release in PCA3; A's appointment does not satisfy B's container-specific requirement. Neither packet meets all three fictional conditions. Return the exact missing evidence and issuing-source scope instead of equating physical presence with pickup readiness or treating this document check as actual port authorization.
- Treating discharge as sufficient availability despite another pending condition.
- Sharing one container's appointment across a different container's release packet.
Fields to preserve
- Container and service date
- Defines the rubric target.
- Discharge, release and appointment states
- Separates conditions.
- Issuing source and unmatched attachment
- Supports the missing-evidence finding.
Test another case
Provide A's release effective day 3 while retaining its day-2 appointment. Require the date mismatch to remain before all conditions can match.
Use invented records and conditions. Exclude commercial parties, customs files and active schedules; partner ownership and operational decisions remain separate.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
