Leafy greens harvest-to-pack data for AI traceability
A harvest tote can receive a new ID at the packing station.
NAICS 111219 · Other Vegetable (except Potato) and Melon Farming
A harvest tote can receive a new ID at the packing station. If an assistant sees the new label but misses the documented handoff, the lot can appear to come from a different harvest. USDA’s Harmonized GAP program includes produce food-safety audit material. micro1 has advertised workplace capture including agricultural settings. Use a clean empty tote, invented labels, and a fictional harvest worksheet. Record the old and new IDs, time of transfer, and who authorized the label change. Include a similar tote on the same timeline with no matching transfer. Ask the model to trace the first tote and report where it cannot verify the second. For a visual task, capture an unreadable label angle separately from a truly missing label.
Exclude worker identities, real field maps, buyer codes, and unresolved food-safety findings. Confirm both grower and packhouse permission before using jointly generated records.
Describe a produce handoff sample
Original Fiund exercise
A packhouse relabel needs a documented old-to-new tote link
An empty-tote staging example uses original labels and fabricated harvest records. It contains no food-safety finding, worker identity or actual produce traceability claim.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| LG1 | Harvest worksheet | Tote H-A belongs to fictional harvest L1. Tote H-B belongs to L2 on the same day. |
| LG2 | Authorized handoff | Transfer T maps H-A to packhouse label P-A at 10:00. Original mock approval names both labels and L1. |
| LG3 | Other observations | P-B appears at 10:05 with no H-B cross-reference. A separate photo description shows H-B's label present but unreadable from that angle. |
Question for the model
Which packhouse label has a verified harvest link, and is H-B's label missing or its relationship to P-B established?
Show the reference answer and checks
LG1 and LG2 trace P-A through H-A to L1 under transfer T. LG3 supplies no H-B-to-P-B relationship, so similar timing cannot establish it. The H-B photo description explicitly says its label is present but unreadable from that angle, which differs from a missing label. Report both the unresolved handoff and view limitation without assigning L2 to P-B or claiming a food-safety outcome.
- Joining harvest and pack labels solely by adjacent timestamps.
- Converting an unreadable label into a missing-label finding.
Fields to preserve
- Harvest lot and original tote
- Defines origin.
- New label, transfer time and authority
- Documents the handoff.
- Readability and missing-link state
- Separates visual limits from absent records.
Test another case
Add a readable H-B image but no transfer card. Require label readability to improve while the P-B origin remains unresolved.
Use clean empty props and dummy labels. Exclude maps, buyer codes and unresolved findings; real jointly generated records need grower and packhouse approval.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
