Lamp manufacturing data for AI output and label fields
FTC's lighting-label guidance distinguishes information shown for covered lamp products.
NAICS 335139 · Electric Lamp Bulb and Other Lighting Equipment Manufacturing
FTC's lighting-label guidance distinguishes information shown for covered lamp products. A manufacturer can create an original reading task that keeps output, power and color fields separate. FTC Lighting Facts guidance
Design fictional neutral lamp labels, a variant register and a customer request. Give two variants the same package shape but different declared fields. Ask the assistant which value answers each request and which variant belongs to the selected order. Include a cropped field and an older label proof with a familiar product-family name.
Annotate variant, property, unit, declared or observed status, label version and visible region. Evaluate with a new layout and an explicit exercise glossary. Score power substituted for output, invented covered text and use of the old proof independently. The key should retain missing evidence rather than infer a field from a familiar-looking lamp.
Use original artwork and invented values. Real program marks, customer designs, proprietary product data and laboratory reports require appropriate permission and an accurate scope description. A licensing proposal should define the field-selection task and independent key. Establish buyer requirements before preparing commercial records or commissioning new capture.

Equal power does not match the requested output and color
Original neutral mock labels use separate arbitrary power, output and color keys.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Request | Power class P4, output class L2, color code C1. |
| 2 | Variant A | P4, L2, C2. |
| 3 | Variant B | P4, L3, C1. |
Question for the model
Which variant meets all three keys?
Show the reference answer and checks
Neither. A meets power and output but differs in color; B meets power and color but differs in output. Records 2 and 3 each supply partial matches to record 1. Keep the three field roles distinct instead of treating power as a proxy for light.
- Filtering by power only
- Combining A's output with B's color into a nonexistent variant
Fields to preserve
- power_class
- Identifies the input category
- output_class
- Preserves the independent output field
- color_code
- Checks the requested appearance variant
Test another case
Provide a variant with all three keys and a separately labeled dimming condition; limit the match to the requested fields.
No actual lamp ratings, energy claims, fixture selection or compatibility advice.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
