Fuel dealer delivery ticket and measured quantity data for AI

A delivery order can specify an estimated amount while the ticket records a measured quantity.

NAICS 457210 · Fuel Dealers

A delivery order can specify an estimated amount while the ticket records a measured quantity. NIST Handbook 44 provides context for weighing and measuring devices. A fuel dealer can test source matching using invented orders and readings. NIST Handbook 44 current edition

Write a dummy order for a planned quantity and a mock meter ticket for the actual amount. Add a ticket correction and a second file using a different unit without a stated conversion basis. Ask what quantity the evidence supports. Score order, unit and correction separately.

Use synthetic records and no actual handling. Exclude customer locations, supplier pricing, tank information, vehicle details and real route data.

Describe a fictional fuel delivery evidence sample

Original Fiund exercise

A corrected meter ticket replaces the observed quantity, not the planned order

An original fictional delivery packet uses practice units and no fuel handling, customer, tank, vehicle, supplier or route.

Fictional records supplied to the evaluator
RecordSourceWhat it records
FMT1Order O1Planned amount 100 practice volume units. No completed measurement in the order.
FMT2Matched ticketsT1 initially records O1 measured 96 volume units. T2 explicitly supersedes that field with 94, same order and unit; original retained as history.
FMT3Other fileO1-style label lists 94 mass units with no exact order reference, density or comparison basis. No authority to substitute it for T2.

Question for the model

What measured amount is current, and can the plan or separate mass file substitute for it?

Show the reference answer and checks

FMT2's T2 explicitly replaces the O1 measurement with 94 practice volume units. The 100-unit FMT1 order remains a plan, not a measured value; T1's 96 is superseded history. FMT3 lacks an exact match and uses mass rather than volume without a conversion basis, so its equal numeral is not corroboration. Preserve order identity, unit and correction source rather than treat all delivery quantities as interchangeable.

  • Reporting the planned order amount instead of a corrected measurement.
  • Treating equal mass and volume numerals as confirmation without conversion or identity evidence.

Fields to preserve

Order and ticket reference
Defines the delivery fixture.
Plan versus measured quantity and unit
Preserves meaning.
Correction parent and unmatched basis
Selects current evidence.

Test another case

Supply an O1-matched mass measurement but no authorized conversion. Require identity to resolve while numerical comparability stays open.

Use original synthetic tickets and no actual fuel. Exclude site, equipment and commercial terms; the task gives no operating instruction.
