Frozen food wholesale receiving and temperature evidence for AI
A receipt can show a shipment arrived while its monitoring history still has an unresolved gap.
NAICS 424420 · Packaged Frozen Food Merchant Wholesalers
A receipt can show a shipment arrived while its monitoring history still has an unresolved gap. FDA’s sanitary transportation rules provide food transport context. An original exercise can test whether software reports the evidence period and leaves the disposition decision with staff. FDA sanitary transportation rule
Invent a frozen shipment with a dummy logger export and a receipt. Leave a time interval blank and include a logger from another load. Ask which periods have matching records and what requires review. Score load identity, time coverage and the unresolved gap.
Use synthetic values and empty props. Exclude real transport data, food safety thresholds, customer names and live shipments.
Describe a fictional frozen receiving sample
Original Fiund exercise
A delivery receipt cannot fill a missing logger interval
A synthetic receiving packet uses empty cartons, fictional load aliases and arbitrary temperature observations. It contains no actual food, product threshold, live route or disposition decision.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| FFT1 | Load A logger | Matched sensor A records original practice observations at hours 1, 2 and 4; hour 3 missing. Unit and interval stated. |
| FFT2 | Load A receiving | Original receipt confirms arrival at hour 4, explicitly linked to A. No monitoring data or safety decision in receipt. |
| FFT3 | Other logger | Sensor B has complete hours 1–4 for load B. Same nominal time and units, no A relationship. |
Question for the model
Which periods and arrival evidence are supported for A, and can either other record fill its hour-three gap?
Show the reference answer and checks
FFT1 supports A's measured observations at hours one, two and four while leaving hour three missing. FFT2 independently documents A's arrival at hour four but contains no temperature measurement for the gap. FFT3 belongs to B and cannot substitute for A's history despite matching times and units. Preserve receipt and monitoring coverage separately and flag the missing interval for qualified review without inferring a product disposition or food-safety outcome.
- Treating receipt as evidence of complete transport monitoring.
- Borrowing another load's value or interpolating a missing interval as observed fact.
Fields to preserve
- Load and matched sensor alias
- Defines source scope.
- Observed hours, units and missingness
- Preserves coverage.
- Receipt versus disposition evidence
- Limits the conclusion.
Test another case
Add A's matched backup sensor for hour three with a different sampling basis. Require method reconciliation before claiming continuous comparable coverage.
Use synthetic values and empty props. Exclude real transport records and thresholds; authorized staff retain product decisions.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
