Custom home selection and installation records for AI
An owner can approve a window selection while the site packet still shows the prior opening.
NAICS 236115 · New Single-Family Housing Construction (except For-Sale Builders)
An owner can approve a window selection while the site packet still shows the prior opening. A useful evaluation tests whether the assistant can follow that change into the correct room and drawing. DOE documents flashed opening details, and Troveo’s construction guide describes interest in project and decision records. Its description is a reason to ask about fit for a particular workflow. Draw two imaginary openings. Pair one owner-approved selection with an updated schedule and a matching mock inspection. Give the other only a selection request. Ask which change is documented, whether the practice observation matches the correct opening, and what evidence is missing.
Use independently drawn plans and dummy selections. Clear any architect, owner, and subcontractor rights separately. Exclude addresses, signatures, private finishes, and actual site photographs.
Describe a selection handoff sample
Original Fiund exercise
Follow an approved selection to the correct opening
An independently drawn practice home has openings W1 and W2. A selection request, schedule and mock observation show different stages of the handoff.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| CH1 | Owner selection record | Opening W1: option Blue approved; W2: option Green requested, approval absent. |
| CH2 | Fictional opening schedule revision 4 | W1 updated to Blue. W2 remains option Amber. Revision 3 is superseded for W1 only. |
| CH3 | Mock review | Observation names W1, schedule revision 4 and a Blue-labeled prop. No observation names W2. |
Question for the model
Which selection has a documented approval-to-observation chain, and what can be said about W2's Green request?
Show the reference answer and checks
CH1–CH3 connect W1's approved Blue selection to revision 4 and a matching mock observation. W2 has only a Green request; its schedule still lists Amber and no W2 observation is supplied. The request does not prove approval, a schedule update or installation. Record those stages separately and flag the unresolved change rather than asserting that Green was installed.
- Applying W1's approval to every opening in the practice home.
- Treating W2's requested option as the current scheduled or observed product.
Fields to preserve
- Opening identifier
- Keeps similar room selections separate.
- Selection approval and effective revision
- Links an authorized choice to the right schedule.
- Observed label and review reference
- Records what the mock observation actually verifies.
Test another case
Add an approved Green selection for W2 but leave the schedule unchanged. Ask the system to identify the new approval and the still-open schedule-to-observation handoff.
Use dummy options and independent plans. Exclude real addresses, signatures, architect drawings, client selections and installation details.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
