Concrete block data for AI sample and conditioning records
CMHA publishes guidance on sampling and testing concrete masonry units.
NAICS 327331 · Concrete Block and Brick Manufacturing
CMHA publishes guidance on sampling and testing concrete masonry units. A block manufacturer can propose a task that attaches the right sample identity and test context to each reported result. CMHA sampling and testing guidance
Create fictional block-lot tickets, a sampling sheet and a laboratory table. Take two labeled sample groups from different positions in the mock lot. Give one report a complete sample reference and another only a product name. Ask the assistant which results can be associated with the selected group and which comparison lacks evidence. Include a conditioning entry belonging to a different specimen group.
Label lot, specimen, conditioning reference, test date and source document separately. Hold out a new block configuration and report layout for evaluation. Score wrong-specimen association independently from numerical extraction. The reference key should identify the missing relationship and avoid inferring strength or compliance from a visible core pattern.
Use paper props, original forms and invented values for a first pilot. Real customer requirements, laboratory terms and inspection-agency material need permission for the proposed AI use. Describe the sample-context task and qualified reviewer key to prospective buyers. An accepted brief should guide further collection and the amount of production history prepared.

Original Fiund exercise
Same block lot, different conditioning state
Toy block records carry arbitrary index values and labels. The exercise checks comparability without describing any real testing procedure.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Query | Compare results in mock condition A. |
| 2 | Report X | Block P1, lot L, condition A, index 7. |
| 3 | Report Y | Block P2, lot L, condition B, index 9. |
Question for the model
Do the two index values support the requested comparison?
Show the reference answer and checks
No. X has a documented condition A value for P1, but Y is condition B for P2. Shared lot L does not make the test states equivalent. Keep both values with their recorded conditions and leave a condition A pair unavailable.
- Assuming same lot means same test conditioning
- Concluding a property difference from unmatched conditions
Fields to preserve
- conditioning_state
- Gates like-for-like comparison
- specimen_key
- Preserves block-level evidence
- comparison_ready
- Shows whether both requested observations exist
Test another case
Add two A reports with distinct test methods and require method match as well as condition.
No real test procedures, strength claims, construction design or acceptance limits.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
