A display pack can group several brush shapes and sizes while a carton count uses whole sets. Census includes artist brush wholesalers in this category. A sample can test whether a model preserves the individual assortment behind a case label. U.S. Census NAICS manual · GS1 US packaging levels
Create an original practice set with three generic shapes. Give two cartons the same overall count but different component mixes. Ask which set matches the documented order and what visible evidence supports the decision. Include a set whose total count is correct but whose mix differs, so the reviewer can check both questions independently.
Use original labels and owned supplies. Exclude buyer files, licensed package artwork, supplier agreements and real shipment records.

Two cases can hold the same number of sets with different brush shapes inside
Original brush-shaped props have generic round, flat and fan labels. No customer, supplier, branded package or actual shipment is involved.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| ABW1 | Original order | One case of two identical sets; each set needs one ROUND, one FLAT and one FAN. Six pieces total. |
| ABW2 | Case A review | Two sets, each observed ROUND/FLAT/FAN with all three shape labels readable. Original reviewer verifies component counts. |
| ABW3 | Case B review | Two sets; first ROUND/FLAT/FAN, second ROUND/FLAT/FLAT. Six pieces, but one FAN missing relative to required mix. |
Question for the model
Which case matches both set count and composition, and how does the other differ despite the same piece total?
Show the reference answer and checks
ABW2 matches the two-set, six-piece requirement with one of each shape in each set. ABW3 also has two sets and six pieces but substitutes an extra FLAT for the second set's FAN. Report Case B's correct case quantity and incorrect component mix separately. A count of outer sets or total pieces cannot establish each assortment, and the supplied readable shape labels are the evidence for the difference.
- Treating equal total pieces as proof of correct set composition.
- Checking case count while ignoring a within-set substitution.
Fields to preserve
- Case and set ID
- Defines nested packaging.
- Required and observed shape counts
- Supports mix checks.
- Component labels and reviewer source
- Makes each finding inspectable.
Test another case
Put all six correct shapes in the case but cluster both FAN pieces in one set. Require carton-level totals to pass while set-level mix still fails.
Use owned supplies and original labels. Exclude buyer and supplier files, licensed artwork and real shipment records.
