How much does Figure Index pay? What is publicly verified
Figure Index describes payment by the minute, but its reviewed public page does not publish one universal dollar rate. Here is what to check before recording.

Figure’s official Index page says creators can receive a recording device and earn by the minute while doing tasks. As checked on October 27, 2026, the reviewed page did not give one universal dollar rate per minute. A reliable earnings estimate needs the current terms for your actual offer.
Fiund is independent of Figure and does not administer Index. This guide does not establish that Figure is buying datasets from Fiund, that an applicant will be accepted, or that any quoted rate from another role applies to Index.
What Figure publicly confirms

The official page describes creator participation and an app-based route. Its August 25, 2026 announcement describes a Figure-exclusive data pipeline and technical and quality screening. Use the official sources below for current information rather than a recruiter screenshot without terms.
Program-wide payout totals are not an individual rate. Dividing cumulative payouts by upload counts or participant counts would mix different time windows, durations and acceptance states. It would not tell you what your next recording earns.
What you need from the current offer
Check the applicable country, eligibility, approved tasks, recording equipment and payment unit. Ask whether a minute must be accepted, how rejected or duplicate footage is treated, and how equipment return, transfer fees or other costs work.
Keep the current written terms and task instructions before recording. The public overview is not enough to establish every regional rule, payment schedule or equipment obligation. A missing answer should remain unknown until the official offer resolves it.
Recording time is not total work time
For an earnings plan, include onboarding, setup, permissions, upload, review and any recapture. A payment per accepted minute can differ substantially from an hourly return on your own time.
Use an offer-specific rate and your actual acceptance results. Do not substitute Figure employee salaries, robot teleoperation job wages, a third-party broker’s asking price or another collector’s region-specific experience.

Existing footage is a separate opportunity
Joining a collection program and licensing a library you already own are different transactions. Existing footage needs its own review of source, permissions, technical quality, task coverage and buyer fit.
If you already hold egocentric recordings, Fiund can review a description. That does not imply access to Figure’s procurement or an offer at an Index creator rate. Follow the official Index application route if Index is the program you intend to join.
How this guide is maintained
The check date identifies the public pages reviewed, not a guarantee that an offer remains unchanged. Verify new terms directly before making a financial or equipment decision.
If a universal rate becomes officially available, it should be shown with its unit, scope and date. Until then, the accurate answer is that no universal dollar rate was verified on the reviewed public page.
Before the next step
- Use official program links.
- Read the rate and accepted-unit definition in your own offer.
- Check equipment and payment obligations.
- Do not confuse collection work with selling a dataset.
Frequently asked questions
Does Fiund guarantee a purchase or paid assignment?
No. A description is reviewed for fit before a sample, collection scope or licence is agreed. Availability, acceptance, compensation and permitted uses follow the applicable written terms.
