Wireless equipment data for AI model and report scope

The FCC publishes equipment-authorization information.

The FCC publishes equipment-authorization information. A manufacturer can create an original administrative task that matches a product reference to the report and configuration actually described. FCC equipment-authorization context

Prepare fictional product models, module references and a report index. Give two variants similar family names but different documented configurations. Ask the assistant which report belongs to the selected variant. Include a module-only source and an obsolete label proof. The key should preserve the difference between source scope and a complete finished-product association.

Annotate model, module, configuration, report version and effective label. Hold out a new document layout for evaluation. Score family-name matching used as exact identity, component evidence extended beyond its scope and use of the obsolete proof independently. The exercise should not issue an actual authorization judgment or provide operating frequencies or deployment instructions.

Use original neutral paperwork and invented identifiers. Customer designs, licensed interfaces, regulatory artwork and outside laboratory reports require appropriate authority and specialist review. Describe the identity-review task and checked examples in the licensing brief. Establish buyer requirements before preparing a larger archive or commissioning capture.

Original Fiund exercise

Module evidence does not verify the host build

Fictional wireless equipment cards record document subjects only. No radio settings, identifiers or performance data appear.

Fictional records supplied to the evaluator
RecordSourceWhat it records
1Build mapHost H2 variant V1 contains module M8; variant V2 also uses M8.
2Report AScope module M8 on its own.
3Report BScope completed H2 variant V2.

Question for the model

Which report covers the completed V1 host?

Show the reference answer and checks

Neither. Report A concerns M8 alone, while report B is for a completed host at V2. Shared module lineage in record 1 does not make V2 evidence apply to V1. Preserve the available records at their actual scope and flag the missing V1 host report.

  • Treating the same module as an identical host configuration
  • Promoting a module report to host evidence

Fields to preserve

host_variant
Identifies the completed configuration
module_id
Preserves contained-component lineage
report_level
Distinguishes module and host coverage

Test another case

Add a report explicitly covering both variants and verify the declared scope rather than inferring it.

No actual radio designs, spectrum settings, network information, certification or operation guidance.

Discuss a contribution

Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
