Create fictional equipment identifiers, a software register and an explicitly defined event glossary. Give a short mode code different meanings in two versions. Ask the assistant which interpretation applies to a selected test record. Include a later proposed software update and a log whose version reference is absent. The key should preserve that gap and avoid applying the newest glossary automatically.
Annotate equipment, software version, mode code, event time and glossary reference. Hold out an unfamiliar code scheme with its definitions supplied. Score wrong-version interpretation, a proposed update treated as installed and unsupported resolution of a missing version independently. The exercise should supply no welding procedure or operating settings.
Use original logs and invented values. Customer procedures, licensed interfaces, proprietary firmware information and test records need authority for the intended AI use. Describe the context-review task and independent key in the licensing brief. Establish buyer requirements before preparing a larger archive or commissioning authorized capture.

Event 1 is rehearsal complete under the SIM definition. Event 2 cannot be decoded to one meaning because the mode is absent and Q is overloaded. Keep the raw token and mark mode unresolved rather than copying the neighboring row's SIM state.
