Short-term accommodation listing version data for AI
A listing can change after a traveler viewed the earlier offer.
NAICS 721199 · All Other Traveler Accommodation
A listing can change after a traveler viewed the earlier offer. The FTC’s lodging guidance describes disclosure context. An operator can make a fictional evidence exercise about the offer and version shown at a given stage, with no booking or price recommendation. FTC short-term lodging disclosure context
Invent a property listing, a revision and two mock checkout views. Give one a confirmed publication time and leave the other as a draft. Ask which terms were visible at each date and what the file does not establish. Keep a listing version, a fee field and an actual booking distinct.
Exclude real listings, guest data, private rates, addresses, availability calendars, access instructions and platform exports without permission.

Identify which fictional listing version was visible
An original practice listing and mock views test publication and version evidence. No real property, checkout, booking or price recommendation is involved.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| LIST-L1 | Published practice version | At day 1, L1 displays field F as included in the example offer. |
| LIST-L2 | Unpublished revision | A day-3 draft changes F to a separate field. No publication event is recorded. |
| VIEW-L3 | Confirmed mock view | A day-4 practice view references L1 and shows its original field wording. |
Question for the model
Which wording is documented in the day-4 view, and does the newer draft establish a changed published offer?
Show the reference answer and checks
VIEW-L3 documents L1's original included-field wording at the stated view. LIST-L2 is newer but has no supplied publication event, so it does not establish a changed published offer. Preserve the viewed version and draft status. These records do not prove a booking, actual charge, contractual outcome or disclosure compliance.
- Selecting the newest file without checking publication status.
- Inferring a completed booking or payment from a mock listing view.
Fields to preserve
- Listing version
- Keep the exact source referenced by the mock view.
- Publication event
- Separate a draft timestamp from a published revision.
- View time and scope
- Identify what the supplied view actually shows.
Test another case
Supply an explicit L2 publication before a second mock view that still references L1. The correct answer should describe the version conflict rather than silently refresh the old view.
Use invented text and views. Exclude actual listings, rates, guests, addresses, availability calendars, access instructions and restricted platform exports.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
