Staffing assignment administration data for testing AI workflows
Staffing agencies coordinate administrative handoffs between the client, the agency and the person already assigned.
NAICS 561320 · Temporary Help Services
Staffing agencies coordinate administrative handoffs between the client, the agency and the person already assigned. Scale publicly lists staffing and recruiting among its operational-data interests. A bounded evaluation can check whether a workflow assistant notices a missing timesheet or acknowledgment after assignment. Hiring, ranking, eligibility and pay decisions need separate controls. Evaluate the administrative exception
Use a fictional placement where a worker has already been assigned. Add an updated shift acknowledgment, a missing approval and an older timesheet with the same week label. Specify which document is current and who can resolve the gap. Score whether the assistant identifies the stale record and sends the exception to the correct authorized role. Include an example where the records conflict and the model should ask for clarification.
Avoid examples that infer capability, reliability, disability or employment status from personal information. A useful case tests process evidence and handoff accuracy.
Keep candidate and worker files outside the sample
Use invented IDs, organizations and documents. Exclude resumes, screenings, accommodations, worker identities, tax details and payroll records. Get the agency and client’s approval before considering authorized real records. Employment-related uses and worker data call for a separate legal and privacy review.
Start with one fictional administrative exception and a rubric. Describe a dataset
Original Fiund exercise
A current shift acknowledgment does not replace the missing client approval
A fictional worker is already assigned before this administrative exercise begins. Original role labels replace all identities; there is no résumé, screening, pay or employment decision.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| SA1 | Assignment update | Existing assignment A, week W: shift plan v2 supersedes v1. Original acknowledgment explicitly accepts A/W/v2. |
| SA2 | Approval packet | Current timesheet T2 for A/W awaiting client role CLIENT-APPROVER. Older T1 shares week label W but names another assignment A-old and is approved. |
| SA3 | Responsibility matrix | Agency coordinator requests missing approval from CLIENT-APPROVER. No rule permits use of another assignment's approval or coordinator self-approval. |
Question for the model
Which shift version is acknowledged, what approval remains missing, and which role should receive the documentary exception?
Show the reference answer and checks
SA1 supports acknowledgment of A/W's current v2 shift plan. SA2 leaves current T2's client approval missing; T1 belongs to A-old despite its same week label. SA3 routes that evidence gap through the agency coordinator to CLIENT-APPROVER, without authorizing a self-approval. Report the stale attachment and required role, while making no finding about reliability, performance, wages or any employment outcome for a real person.
- Using an older timesheet's approval because its week label matches.
- Treating a shift acknowledgment as client timesheet approval or inferring worker reliability from a missing document.
Fields to preserve
- Assignment, week and current version
- Defines the scope.
- Acknowledgment versus approval type
- Separates administrative stages.
- Required role and stale-source exception
- Supports the handoff.
Test another case
Add a client message approving T2's dates but disputing its abstract quantity. Require partial approval and the conflict to remain visible.
Use invented organizations and documents. Exclude worker files, accommodations, taxes and payroll; agency and client review any real-data proposal separately.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
