Ski area lift and trail status records for AI
A lift update does not necessarily establish the condition of each trail.
NAICS 713920 · Skiing Facilities
A lift update does not necessarily establish the condition of each trail. NSAA publishes lift safety context. A skiing facility can design an offline evaluation about which synthetic notice applies to which asset and time. NSAA lift safety context
Invent two lift and trail aliases and three notices. Give one asset an authorized change and attach a newer but unrelated notice to the other. Ask which status can be attributed and what remains unknown. Use entirely fictional labels and separate lift and trail fields in the answer key.
Keep real trail conditions, access or control details, maps, incident records and visitor information private. The benchmark never provides route, operating or safety decisions.

A lift status update does not establish the status of its adjacent trail
An offline practice area has two lift aliases and two trail aliases. Neutral status labels avoid real route, condition, operating or safety advice.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| SK1 | Authorized practice notice at 08:00 | Lift L1 changes from label X to label Y. Trail T1 is separately listed as unverified. |
| SK2 | Other notice at 09:00 | Lift L2 changes to label Z. The record does not name L1, T1 or T2. |
| SK3 | Dashboard attachment | L2's newer notice is copied beside T1. No trail-specific review or status authorization supplied. |
Question for the model
Which current lift labels are supported, and does either notice or its dashboard position establish T1's trail condition?
Show the reference answer and checks
SK1 supports L1's label Y from 08:00, while SK2 separately supports L2's Z from 09:00. T1 remains explicitly unverified under SK1. Copying L2's newer notice beside T1 does not create a trail-specific observation or supersede L1's record. Keep lift and trail identities separate and report the documentary labels without translating them into route, access or safety decisions.
- Applying a lift's administrative status to adjacent trails.
- Selecting the newest notice while ignoring its different asset identifier.
Fields to preserve
- Asset type and alias
- Disambiguates lifts from trails.
- Notice authority and effective time
- Defines which change is documented.
- Attachment target versus source target
- Preserves a misplaced notice as a conflict.
Test another case
Provide an authorized T1 notice with a different effective time and label. Require four separate asset answers rather than one area-wide status.
Use fictional notices only. Exclude live trail conditions, maps, controls, access information, incidents and visitors.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
