Mobile food menu and service window data for AI
A menu can apply to one service window and be out of date at the next stop.
NAICS 722330 · Mobile Food Services
A menu can apply to one service window and be out of date at the next stop. FDA publishes food establishment context. A mobile operator can use an artificial log to test whether an assistant checks the menu version before reporting availability. FDA Food Code
Create two invented service windows and two menu versions. Give one a confirmed substitution and leave the other with an unverified note. Ask which item status is supported at a specific time and what the staff needs to verify. Do not ask the model to advise about ingredients, allergens or preparation.
Keep real routes, customers, staff details, private recipes, payment information and licensed logos out. Use entirely fictional records.
Describe a menu status exercise
Original Fiund exercise
Match an item substitution to the correct practice window
Two invented service windows and paper menus define a version task. The exercise provides no real route, sale, ingredient advice or food preparation instruction.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| MENU-W1 | First practice window | Window W1 uses menu M1 and lists neutral item Cedar. |
| MENU-W2 | Second practice window | Window W2 uses M2. A confirmed log substitutes neutral item Maple for Cedar only during W2. |
| NOTE-D1 | Unverified note | A note proposes extending the substitution to W1 but has no confirmation or effective time. |
Question for the model
Which item listing is supported for each window by the supplied records?
Show the reference answer and checks
The supplied W1 record lists Cedar under M1. The confirmed W2 log substitutes Maple during W2 under M2. NOTE-D1 does not establish that the W2 change also applies to W1. Report the scope of each source and the unverified proposal separately. The exercise does not establish actual stock, ingredients or a service decision.
- Applying the later-window substitution to every window.
- Promoting the unverified extension note to a confirmed menu change.
Fields to preserve
- Window identifier
- Keep each change within its stated practice period.
- Menu and revision
- Preserve the version actually associated with the window.
- Substitution status
- Distinguish a confirmed scoped change from a proposed extension.
Test another case
Add a later confirmation that explicitly applies to both windows. The answer should then change because the source scope changes.
Use fabricated menu records only. Exclude customers, real locations or routes, payments, staff information, recipes, ingredient and allergen decisions.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
