A production list can show an item prepared while an event record confirms a different tray arrived.

A production list can show an item prepared while an event record confirms a different tray arrived. FDA’s Food Code provides retail food service context. Paid workplace recording programs describe some commercial settings. A caterer can demonstrate a traceable handoff with empty approved props and a mock event list. FDA Food Code · micro1 workplace recording
Give two dummy trays different labels and document one verified handoff. Include a replacement with a confirmed new ID and another tray missing a handoff record. Ask which item is supported and what the reviewer should request. Keep actual temperature and safety determinations outside the exercise.
Exclude client and guest details, dietary requests, actual food, facility images and recipes. Clear the location, people and props before filming.

Trace a replacement tray through a practice event
Empty props and original dummy forms represent an event handoff. The sample tests tray identity and receipt, without food handling or safety decisions.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| PLAN-T1 | Original event list | Practice event E requests trays T1 and T2. |
| REPLACE-T1 | Confirmed replacement record | T1 is replaced by tray T3 for E. The record retires T1 from the current list. |
| RECEIPT-T3 | Handoff confirmation | The recipient confirms T3 for E. No T2 receipt is included. |
| RECEIPT-X2 | Unrelated confirmation | Tray X2 is confirmed at a different practice event. |
Question for the model
Which current tray has a matching confirmed handoff, and can T2 be marked received?
Show the reference answer and checks
T3 is the current replacement for T1 and has a matching E receipt. T2 remains on the plan without a supplied handoff confirmation. RECEIPT-X2 belongs to another event and cannot establish T2's receipt. Keep the replacement relationship, event identity and receipt status together. The package does not establish any food condition or actual delivery.
- Counting T1 and T3 as two current delivered trays after the replacement.
- Using a different event's receipt to close T2's missing handoff.
Fields to preserve
- Event identifier
- Keep receipts within the event they document.
- Replacement lineage
- Connect T1 to T3 and preserve which identity is current.
- Recipient confirmation
- Separate a prepared or planned tray from a documented handoff.
Test another case
Add a receipt that still names retired T1. The model should flag the identity conflict rather than silently rename the source.
Use empty approved props, original labels and fabricated records. Include no client, guest, dietary, recipe or real facility information.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
