Medical supply data for AI package-level records
FDA's UDI information provides context for device-identification records.

FDA's UDI information provides context for device-identification records. An original supply-package exercise can test whether the assistant keeps the article and packaging level stated in each source. FDA UDI system context
Create fictional unit, inner-pack and carton labels with an explicit exercise hierarchy. Supply a packing record and product register. Ask which identifier belongs to the requested level. Include a carton with mixed unit variants and a unit-label photograph whose reference is hidden. The key should avoid extending one readable carton statement to every unidentified article inside.
Annotate article, variant, package level, parent package, source scope and view. Evaluate with a new hierarchy and naming scheme. Score package-level confusion, mixed contents treated as uniform and hidden identity guessed independently. Supply any intended count-conversion rule and include a complete package whose contents are fully documented.
Use neutral mock labels and invented records reviewed by an appropriate specialist. Actual customer information, regulatory marks, licensed specifications and supplier reports need authority. A licensing brief should state the hierarchy-review task and checked key. Establish the buyer's permitted material before preparing a larger archive or authorized capture.

Count each quantity at its packaging level
Fictional paper labels define a unit, inner pack and carton hierarchy. No real device or distribution is represented.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Toy hierarchy | One inner pack contains 5 mock units; one carton holds 4 inner packs. |
| 2 | Manifest | Carton C6 lists 3 inner packs scanned. |
| 3 | Sticker | Full-capacity carton label says 20 units. |
Question for the model
How many units are represented by the manifest, and what remains unverified?
Show the reference answer and checks
Three scanned packs represent 15 units under the toy mapping in record 1. The 20 in record 3 is full carton capacity, not the scan count. Unless the packs are independently inspected, 15 is a manifest-derived quantity rather than a direct piece count.
- Using carton capacity as actual contents
- Counting scanned packs as individual units
Fields to preserve
- package_level
- Keeps units, packs and carton distinct
- conversion_factor
- Supports hierarchy arithmetic
- count_basis
- Marks scanned, calculated or directly counted
Test another case
Give one opened inner pack containing four units and separate the observed count from the standard conversion.
Only fictional packaging; no actual medical supplies, regulatory identifiers, sterile claims or distribution instructions.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
