Lottery notice publication records for AI review

A copied announcement can lag an authorized publication.

A copied announcement can lag an authorized publication. Census classifies non-casino gambling activities separately. The New York Lottery publishes information about its drawings. A synthetic exercise can test date and source matching without asking a model to forecast or advise on gambling. Census Arts, Entertainment and Recreation industries · New York Lottery public drawing context

Create two dummy public notices and a verified revision for one. Give the other a third-party copy with an older timestamp. Ask which version is documented and whether the reference applies to the requested publication date. Use no ticket numbers, live results, or financial terms.

Keep customer, payout, drawing-system, security and commercial records private. The task is retrospective document attribution only.

Describe a synthetic publication example

Original Fiund exercise

A copied notice can lag the authorized publication version

Two invented publication notices use neutral label fields rather than ticket numbers, live results or financial terms. The task is retrospective source matching, not gambling advice or forecasting.

Fictional records supplied to the evaluator
RecordSourceWhat it records
LN1Authorized notice N1 at 09:00Publication label A for practice date D1.
LN2Authorized correction N1-R at 11:00Corrects N1 label to B for D1 only. Notice N2 for D2 remains label C.
LN3Third-party copy at 12:00Still repeats N1's old label A; carries no correction authority. Its copy timestamp is later than N1-R.

Question for the model

Which version supports the current D1 publication label, and does the newer copy timestamp or D2 notice change that answer?

Show the reference answer and checks

LN2 is the authorized correction for N1 on D1, establishing label B after 11:00. LN3 republishes older content with a later copy time but supplies no authority to reverse that correction. LN2 explicitly leaves D2's separate N2 label C unchanged. Report publication identity, source authority and revision time rather than selecting the most recently copied page or applying a correction to another date.

  • Treating a later copy timestamp as a later authoritative revision.
  • Applying a D1 correction to D2 because the notices have similar titles.

Fields to preserve

Notice and practice date
Defines the publication being requested.
Issuer and correction relationship
Identifies the authorized source.
Source time versus copy time
Separates a new decision from a stale replay.

Test another case

Ask what N1 stated at 10:00 before the correction. Require the historical A answer with its time boundary rather than retroactively using B.

Use fictional neutral notices only. Exclude customers, payouts, live results, drawing systems, security details and commercial records.

Discuss a contribution

Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
