HVAC wholesale matched-system and certification reference data for AI
A rating can describe a particular combination of components rather than each component on its own.

A rating can describe a particular combination of components rather than each component on its own. AHRI publishes a certified product directory. A distributor can build an original lookup exercise that checks both sides of a match and the supporting record. AHRI certified product directory
Invent an outdoor unit and two indoor variants with similar identifiers. Give one combination a matching fictional reference and the other a proposed substitute. Ask which rating is supported and what record is needed for the substitute. Score model, combination and source.
Use original cards and inert props. Exclude real customers, dealer agreements, equipment settings and vendor-only documentation. Keep system selection with qualified staff.
Describe a fictional HVAC system match sample
Original Fiund exercise
A combination rating applies to both named components together
An original HVAC catalog fixture uses inert model cards and an abstract rating unit. It contains no working equipment, settings, dealer contract, real rating or installation advice.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| HWR1 | Reviewed reference | Practice combination OUT-A plus IN-1 yields abstract rating R=12 U under mock reference REF-1. Both model suffixes explicitly listed. |
| HWR2 | Proposed substitute | OUT-A remains, IN-2 replaces IN-1 in a proposed order. IN-2 shares family name but no matched combination reference supplied. |
| HWR3 | Individual catalog | IN-2 card lists its own abstract attribute 12 V. Different unit and scope; no equivalence to REF-1's 12 U. |
Question for the model
Which combination can cite REF-1, and can the substitute inherit its rating from one unchanged component or equal numeral?
Show the reference answer and checks
HWR1 supports REF-1's 12-U fixture rating only for OUT-A with IN-1. HWR2 changes the indoor model, so the proposed OUT-A/IN-2 pair lacks its own matched reference. HWR3's 12 V is an individual attribute with a different unit and scope, not corroboration of combination rating. Preserve both component IDs and request a reviewed pair-specific source without selecting an actual system or making a performance or certification claim.
- Transferring a pair rating when only one component matches.
- Treating equal numbers from individual and combined records as the same measure.
Fields to preserve
- Outdoor and indoor full model pair
- Defines the rated combination.
- Reference ID, value and unit
- Supports the source.
- Proposed substitute and missing match
- Limits transfer.
Test another case
Add an OUT-B/IN-2 reference. Require OUT-A/IN-2 to remain unsupported despite the indoor-model match.
Use inert props and original dummy cards. Exclude real settings, customers and vendor documents; qualified staff retain actual system selection.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
