Hazardous waste treatment receipt and closeout records for AI
A receiving facility can document that a shipment arrived before any treatment record exists.
NAICS 562211 · Hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal
A receiving facility can document that a shipment arrived before any treatment record exists. EPA describes hazardous waste management facilities and land disposal restrictions. A fictional evaluation can test whether a model correctly reports the evidence for each stage without making treatment or compliance decisions. EPA waste management facilities · EPA land disposal restrictions
Write an invented intake receipt, a placeholder internal job and two closeout records. Give only one closeout a matching batch and authorizing role. Ask which record establishes receipt and which establishes fictional closeout. In an exception case, supply a closeout belonging to a parallel batch so the reviewer must flag the mismatch.
Use invented categories and IDs. Keep real chemical information, treatment parameters, permit details and facility documents out. Limit the use to evidence matching and human review.
Describe a synthetic treatment closeout sample
Original Fiund exercise
Intake receipt and a batch-specific authorized closeout are separate stages
A synthetic facility workflow uses invented categories, jobs and role labels. It contains no actual material, treatment recipe, equipment screen, chemical or permit information.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| HCW1 | Intake receipt | Shipment S-A received as batch B-A, original mock receipt R-A. Internal job J-A opened with no completion field. |
| HCW2 | Closeout C-A | Explicitly names B-A/J-A, signed by authorizing role APPROVER under the fictional rubric. Does not describe a treatment process. |
| HCW3 | Parallel packet | Batch B-B received, job J-B open. Attached signed closeout is a copy of C-A for B-A/J-A; no B-B closeout supplied. |
Question for the model
Which records establish receipt and which establish the stated fictional closeout, and what remains open for B-B?
Show the reference answer and checks
HCW1 establishes S-A's intake into B-A and opening of J-A. HCW2 separately supports the rubric's authorized closeout for that exact batch and job. HCW3 establishes B-B's receipt and open J-B, but its attached B-A closeout does not close B-B. Keep stage, identity and authorizing role together. These document matches establish no actual treatment, environmental safety or regulatory compliance conclusion.
- Equating receipt or an opened job with completed closeout.
- Using a parallel batch's signed record because its workflow looks similar.
Fields to preserve
- Shipment, batch and job
- Defines the workflow chain.
- Receipt versus closeout type
- Separates stages.
- Authorized role and exact target
- Supports the narrow completion claim.
Test another case
Add a B-B closeout signed by a nonauthorizing role. Require target identity to match while authorization remains an exception.
Use independently authored mock records. Exclude real treatment parameters, findings and facility documents; qualified staff retain treatment and reporting decisions.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
