Construction machinery data for AI telematics identity review

AEMP publishes telematics resources.

NAICS 333120 · Construction Machinery Manufacturing

AEMP publishes telematics resources. A manufacturer can propose a task that keeps a machine identifier, observation time and data source connected. AEMP publications

Create fictional machine registers and telemetry exports with explicit units and timestamps. Give one machine a replacement control unit with a separate effective date. Ask the assistant which observations belong to the selected configuration. Include a cumulative counter beside a period total and an export from a similarly named machine. The key should preserve the counter's meaning and reject the unrelated source.

Annotate machine, component revision, observation interval, unit and event type. Hold out a new export layout for evaluation. Score wrong-machine joins, cumulative values treated as period values and observations assigned to an unrecorded configuration independently. Supply any intended calculation rule so the answer can be reconstructed from the evidence.

Use invented records first. Actual fleet data, customer locations, operator information and service-platform exports need authority for the intended use. A licensing brief should describe the identity-and-time task and reviewed examples. Establish buyer scope and the source relationships available before preparing operating histories or planning additional capture.

Original Fiund exercise

An equipment alias changed midweek

Fictional asset records and telemetry contain arbitrary motion counters, not customer sites or operational instructions.

Fictional records supplied to the evaluator
RecordSourceWhat it records
1Assignment logDisplay alias Loader 1 belongs to asset M7 through Tuesday and M9 starting Wednesday.
2ExportTuesday row 8 count increments; Wednesday row 5, both alias Loader 1.
3QueryReturn M9 activity by day.

Question for the model

Which row belongs to M9?

Show the reference answer and checks

Only the Wednesday row with five count increments belongs to M9 under record 1. Tuesday's eight belong to M7 even though record 2 repeats the same alias. Keep the timestamp and stable asset key so reassigning a label cannot rewrite history.

  • Summing rows by display alias
  • Applying current alias ownership to older events

Fields to preserve

stable_asset_id
Survives reassignment
event_date
Selects the effective alias mapping
counter_unit
Prevents treating increments as hours

Test another case

Use a meter reset halfway through Wednesday and distinguish a reset from negative activity.

No locations, operator identities, authentic fleet exports or equipment operating instructions.

Discuss a contribution

Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
