Electronic component wholesale reel, lot and packaging data for AI

A reel label may identify a component while a separate record documents packaging or handling.

A reel label may identify a component while a separate record documents packaging or handling. The Electrostatic Discharge Association publishes packaging and controls resources. A wholesaler can use an inert setup to test whether a model keeps component identity and handling evidence distinct. ESD Association control and packaging context

Build two dummy reels and original bag labels. Give one a documented package check and leave the other without a matching record. Ask what the image supports and which packaging statement has a source. Score reel, lot and recorded event.

Use original prop labels, no live equipment, real component inventories, customer bills of materials or restricted supplier documents.

Describe a staged electronic component sample

Original Fiund exercise

A readable reel label does not prove a documented packaging check occurred

Two dummy reels and original bags form a staged packaging-evidence fixture. There are no live electronics, actual inventory, customer bill of materials or handling instructions.

Fictional records supplied to the evaluator
RecordSourceWhat it records
RPE1Reel AVisible component M, lot L1, reel R-A. Original package-check event P-A explicitly names R-A/L1 and reviewer sign-off.
RPE2Reel BVisible same component M, lot L2, reel R-B. Similar bag graphics, no R-B/L2 package-check record.
RPE3Loose verificationCopy of P-A attached to B. Still names R-A/L1; no approved lot equivalence or event correction.

Question for the model

Which component identities are visible, and which reel has a matching documented packaging event?

Show the reference answer and checks

RPE1 and RPE2 support both reels' visible component M with their different lot and reel IDs. Only RPE1 has an exact reviewed P-A packaging event. RPE3's copy retains A's identity and cannot verify B's handling or packaging merely because the bags look alike. Preserve component identity, packaging appearance and logged check as separate facts; the exercise makes no actual protective-performance or compliance claim.

  • Equating a component label or bag appearance with a performed packaging check.
  • Moving a sign-off across reels or lots sharing a component type.

Fields to preserve

Component, lot and reel alias
Defines the item.
Observed packaging and label
Supports appearance.
Checked event and exact reviewer target
Limits verification.

Test another case

Add a B-specific check without reviewer sign-off. Require exact identity to match while approval remains unverified.

Use original prop labels and inert reels. Exclude actual supplier documents and inventories; this is an evidence check, not a handling protocol.
