Armored courier handoff and custody receipt records for AI
Custody paperwork can contain a transfer entry from the sender and a separate receipt from the recipient.
NAICS 561613 · Armored Car Services
Custody paperwork can contain a transfer entry from the sender and a separate receipt from the recipient. Census includes armored car services in the security industry, and GS1’s EPCIS standard gives a public example of representing business events. A fictional courier exercise can focus on matching the two sides of a handoff. U.S. Census 2022 NAICS manual · GS1 EPCIS
Use empty tabletop props and create two invented tote identifiers. Make one recipient acknowledgment match the sender’s identifier and timestamp window. Make a second match only the first few characters. Ask which handoff is supported and why the unmatched receipt remains an exception.
Keep real route, pickup timing, customer, personnel and security procedures out. Invent the forms and location. Request authorization from the content owner and any performers before sharing.
Describe a fictional custody reconciliation sample
Original Fiund exercise
Sender transfer and recipient acknowledgment need the same full tote reference
An empty-tabletop custody fixture uses original forms and abstract tote aliases. It includes no actual valuables, route, customer, pickup schedule or security procedure.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| AR-C1 | Sender events | Tote DEMO-A1 transferred in practice window W1. Tote DEMO-A2 transferred in separate window W2. Full IDs are distinct. |
| AR-C2 | Recipient receipt | Receipt R1 explicitly acknowledges DEMO-A1 in W1 and cites its sender event. |
| AR-C3 | Partial receipt | Receipt R2 says DEMO-A only, window W2. Missing final character and sender-event reference; no approved correction supplied. |
Question for the model
Which two-sided handoff is documented, and can R2's partial identifier establish receipt of A2?
Show the reference answer and checks
AR-C1 and AR-C2 exactly connect DEMO-A1's sender event and recipient acknowledgment within W1. AR-C3 shares only a partial prefix with both totes and lacks the originating event reference, so W2 alone cannot establish an A2 receipt. Retain A2's sender transfer and unmatched recipient evidence separately. The fictional records do not establish real custody, security compliance or delivery of any valuable item.
- Matching custody receipts by a shared identifier prefix.
- Treating a sender's transfer as proof of recipient acknowledgment when the receiving record is incomplete.
Fields to preserve
- Full tote and sender-event ID
- Defines the outgoing object.
- Recipient reference and time window
- Supports the matching receipt.
- Partial-ID exception and correction authority
- Preserves unresolved evidence.
Test another case
Add an approved R2 correction to DEMO-A2 but a conflicting W1 window. Require the remaining timing conflict to be reviewed.
Use owned empty props and original paperwork with performer rights. Exclude real routes, times, personnel and security controls.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
