Garments sold as one style can have several sizes, colorways or fiber labels. FTC publishes apparel labeling resources. Troveo’s physical AI materials describe first-person handling footage. A retailer can use owned samples to demonstrate how staff verify the variant before packing. FTC apparel labeling · Troveo egocentric video guide
Use two original labeled practice garments and a dummy pick ticket. Film the fold, label check and placement. Include a take that folds the label out of view before verification. Score visible handling and evidence for the chosen variant separately.
Clear performer and media rights. Exclude shoppers, orders, size profiles, supplier artwork and branded items without permission.
Describe a staged apparel handling sample
Original Fiund exercise
A neat fold does not verify a hidden garment variant label
Two owned practice garments carry original dummy labels. A consenting adult's staged handling is described by text annotations; no shopper, order, brand or body-size profile appears.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| AV1 | Dummy pick ticket | Pick style S, size M, color BLUE, label fiber class F1. Original version P1. |
| AV2 | Take A annotations | Performer displays garment G1 label: S/M/BLUE/F1, reviewer confirms legibility before folding, then places G1 in marked bin. |
| AV3 | Take B annotations | G2 resembles G1 but is folded before its size/fiber label is visible. Separate prop register says S/L/BLUE/F2; no label-check event in the take. |
Question for the model
Which take visibly verifies the requested variant, and can B's successful folding action establish a correct pick?
Show the reference answer and checks
AV1 and AV2 align G1's visible style, size, color and fiber label with P1 before folding and placement. AV3 shows handling but no visible size/fiber verification; its separate register also describes a different L/F2 variant. A neat fold or matching color does not establish the requested pick. Score action sequence and variant evidence separately rather than treat completed packing motions as proof of correct identity.
- Scoring correct handling as proof that the chosen product variant matches.
- Inferring hidden size or fiber fields from garment color and shape.
Fields to preserve
- Pick version and required attributes
- Defines the target.
- Garment ID and label visibility
- Supports variant verification.
- Check/fold/place timestamps
- Preserves action order.
Test another case
Use another owned garment instance in the same required variant but a different fold. Require identity to follow readable labels rather than memorized object appearance.
Use authorized garments and written performer/media rights. Exclude orders, supplier designs and branded items without permission.
