Ambulance arrival and transfer timestamp data for AI
A vehicle can arrive before the receiving team acknowledges transfer.
NAICS 621910 · Ambulance Services
A vehicle can arrive before the receiving team acknowledges transfer. NEMSIS publishes data dictionaries with separate emergency medical services time elements. An ambulance service can use a fictional record packet to evaluate timeline reconstruction without using an actual dispatch. NEMSIS version 3 data dictionaries
Write a simulated trip with two clock sources and a documented conversion for one. Record arrival and transfer separately. Include another case with arrival but no receiving acknowledgment. Ask for the supported interval and mark it unresolved where the required event is absent. Score event name, source and time basis.
Exclude emergency recordings, patient data, live locations, operational details and actual response times. Use original forms or training data with documented authority.
Describe a fictional ambulance timing sample
Original Fiund exercise
Arrival and receiving-team acknowledgment are separate timeline events
A fictional trip uses abstract time cards and no patient, dispatch location, clinical event or actual response performance. The clock offset is an explicit property of the invented fixture.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| AT1 | Vehicle clock | Trip A arrival recorded 10:02 on vehicle clock. Approved mock clock card says vehicle clock is two minutes ahead of reference time. |
| AT2 | Receiving acknowledgment | Trip A receiving-team acknowledgment at 10:08 reference time, exact trip link supplied. |
| AT3 | Trip B | Arrival 11:00 reference time. Scheduled handoff 11:05, but no receiving acknowledgment or completed transfer event supplied. |
Question for the model
What arrival-to-acknowledgment interval is supported for A, and can B's interval be calculated from its scheduled handoff?
Show the reference answer and checks
AT1 converts A's vehicle-clock arrival to 10:00 reference time. AT2 then supports eight minutes from arrival to receiving acknowledgment at 10:08. B's scheduled 11:05 handoff in AT3 is not a completed acknowledgment, so its corresponding interval remains unresolved. Preserve event names, trip identity and time basis; this synthetic interval does not establish clinical transfer quality or actual ambulance performance.
- Subtracting timestamps from different clocks without the documented conversion.
- Using a scheduled handoff as a receiving acknowledgment or treating arrival as the transfer event.
Fields to preserve
- Trip and event type
- Separates arrival from acknowledgment.
- Clock source and offset evidence
- Supports conversion.
- Reference timestamp and missing event
- Makes the interval reproducible or explicitly unresolved.
Test another case
Remove A's approved clock-offset card. Require the exact interval to become uncertain rather than assume synchronized clocks.
Use original fictional cards. Exclude emergency recordings, patient data, live locations and operational details; real time elements need authorized source review.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
