Dashcam footage
Continuous road video from vehicle-mounted cameras, treated as a distinct data class for training driving and world models. Valued for long, uninterrupted real-world sequences.
Its useful properties: a fixed viewpoint, long unbroken takes, timestamps, often GPS and speed, and natural variety in weather, lighting, and traffic behaviour. Public driving datasets built the autonomous-driving field, and world-model teams now want the same continuity. Faces and licence plates raise privacy obligations, handled by blurring or by contract terms.
Why it matters
Continuous real-road video serves driving models and world models alike, which widens its buyer pool.
