Union notice and meeting revision records for AI
A meeting notice may circulate before a correction changes a room or time.
NAICS 813930 · Labor Unions and Similar Labor Organizations
A meeting notice may circulate before a correction changes a room or time. The U.S. Department of Labor describes member rights and officer responsibilities under the LMRDA. A union can create a fictional test about which notice applies without collecting membership or labor activity data. Department of Labor union member rights and officer responsibilities
Make up two chapters and give their notices the same meeting date. Post an original correction applying only to one chapter. Ask the model to identify which schedule changed and cite its evidence. Require the answer to preserve the unchanged chapter’s source.
Use invented groups and notices. Leave membership rolls, grievances, votes, negotiations and employee files outside the package. Keep the exercise on document retrieval.

Original Fiund exercise
A correction for one chapter leaves the other chapter's notice intact
Two invented chapters publish neutral meeting notices. The exercise has no actual membership, grievance, vote, negotiation or employee information.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| UN1 | Original practice notices | Chapter A and chapter B both meet day 10 at 10:00 in room X. |
| UN2 | Authorized A correction | Chapter A meeting moves to 11:00 in room Y on day 10. B not named. |
| UN3 | Forwarded copy | A member-role dummy forward repeats the original A notice after the correction; no new authority or B change supplied. |
Question for the model
Which meeting time and room are supported for each chapter, and does the later forward reverse A's correction?
Show the reference answer and checks
UN2 supports Chapter A at 11:00 in Y on day 10. UN1 remains the supplied Chapter B source at 10:00 in X because the correction does not name B. UN3 forwards stale A content without authority to reverse the correction. Keep chapter, meeting date and version explicit rather than applying the change to every same-date meeting or treating forward time as a new decision.
- Extending Chapter A's correction to Chapter B.
- Selecting a later forwarded copy over the named authorized revision.
Fields to preserve
- Chapter and meeting date
- Defines the event identity.
- Time and room revision
- Makes the corrected fields explicit.
- Issuer versus forwarding timestamp
- Separates authority from message circulation.
Test another case
Correct B's room only while retaining 10:00. Require field-specific updates rather than copying A's full revised schedule.
Use invented groups and notices. Exclude rolls, labor activity, grievances, votes, negotiations and personnel files.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
