Use two disconnected, unbranded training pieces. Attach a dummy label to each and record a simulated field observation. Give one a verified plan match and another an unreadable label. Ask the model to report only verified associations and request a second view for the unresolved item. Keep plan assignments and observations separate.
Use no energized parts, network maps, utility routes, live equipment, customer information, or actual service identifiers. Confirm permission for any drawings or images before release.

Original Fiund exercise
Keep drawing assignments separate from observed conduit labels
Two disconnected, unbranded plastic training pieces stand for conduits. A dummy plan and bench images test identifier matching without an energized or networked system.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| PC1 | Practice drawing revision D | Position 1 assigned label C-Alpha; position 2 assigned C-Beta. |
| PC2 | Reviewed bench observation | Position 1 label C-Alpha visible and matched to revision D. |
| PC3 | Second bench observation | Position 2 piece visible but label unreadable. Caption says C-Beta based on the plan assignment only. |
Question for the model
Which plan-to-observation association is verified, and what can be reported for position 2 before a clearer view is available?
Show the reference answer and checks
PC1 and PC2 verify that the observed C-Alpha label at position 1 agrees with revision D. PC3 establishes that a piece is visible at position 2, but its actual label is unreadable. The planned C-Beta assignment is known; the observed identifier is not. Request a label-linked second view instead of presenting the plan-derived caption as verified field evidence.
- Copying the planned identifier into the observed-label field.
- Calling the unreadable second label a mismatch rather than an unresolved observation.
Fields to preserve
- Drawing revision and assigned label
- Defines the intended association.
- Observed identifier and visibility
- Records what can actually be read.
- Position and review evidence
- Connects a verified view to a particular bench location.
Test another case
Reveal C-Alpha on the second piece too. Require the model to identify a documented duplicate-label conflict rather than retaining the plan's expected C-Beta.
Use disconnected safe props and original drawings. Include no utility routes, network maps, live equipment, energized parts, actual service IDs or customer information.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project.
