Agricultural chemical data for AI label identity review
EPA's pesticide-labeling questions explain distinctions among product and establishment information.
NAICS 325320 · Pesticide and Other Agricultural Chemical Manufacturing
EPA's pesticide-labeling questions explain distinctions among product and establishment information. A manufacturer can create a static evidence task around selecting the label record that applies to the exact product and revision. EPA pesticide-labeling questions
Design fictional labels with clearly invented identifiers, an original revision register and a mock packing order. Give two products a shared establishment reference while retaining different product references. Ask the assistant which label belongs to the order. Include a proposed amendment that was never made effective and a carton view with one identifier obscured.
Annotate product reference, establishment reference, label version, effective status and visible region. Hold out a new layout for evaluation. Score treating the establishment as the product identifier, using the proposed version and inventing covered text independently. The reference key should compare the supplied records without issuing a regulatory determination or an application instruction.
Use neutral artwork and invented values. Actual registration material, customer formulations, licensed artwork and third-party reports require authority and specialist review. Explain the label-identity task and checked examples in the contributor brief. Confirm the buyer's permitted sources and acceptance method before preparing operating records or additional capture.

Product identity and packing-site identity occupy different fields
Two fictitious cartons contain blank paper. Labels use deliberately invalid example identifiers and make no regulatory claim.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Mock packing order | Product QA; site mark EAST; art rev D. |
| 2 | Proof D1 | Product QA, site WEST, rev D. |
| 3 | Proof D2 | Product QB, site EAST, rev D. |
Question for the model
Which proof matches the packing order?
Show the reference answer and checks
Neither proof satisfies the combination in record 1. D1 in record 2 has the correct product and art revision but a different site mark. D2 in record 3 matches the site and revision but names another product. Keep the two mismatches separate.
- Using a site match as proof of product identity
- Treating the shared art revision as approval
Fields to preserve
- product_key
- Identifies the carton variant
- site_mark
- Identifies the fictional packing location field
- proof_revision
- Compares the named art version
Test another case
Give a late packing-site change with an effective order interval and require checking the order timestamp.
No real pesticide labels, application instructions, registration numbers or regulatory determinations.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
