Investment advisory fee schedule data for AI evaluation
A public brochure may describe fee categories while a particular account agreement documents the arrangement used for a statement.

A public brochure may describe fee categories while a particular account agreement documents the arrangement used for a statement. SEC’s Form ADV instructions include advisory brochure disclosure context. A synthetic evaluation can ask a model to compare two versions without making an investment or billing decision. SEC Form ADV Part 2
Invent two advisory programs with similar names. Give one a new fee schedule effective after the exercise date and an agreement using the older schedule. Include an example figure labeled illustrative. Ask which terms the records support, what applies to the mock date, and what an authorized reviewer needs to confirm. Keep public disclosure, signed terms, and arithmetic fields distinct.
Use no client holdings, account values, contracts, investment policy files, or real compensation arrangements. Keep product selection and customer billing outside the benchmark.
Describe a fee-document reconciliation exercise
Original Fiund exercise
An effective-date change does not rewrite the earlier account agreement
Two imaginary advisory programs have independently authored fee cards. Percentages are fictional document fields; the task performs no client billing or investment analysis.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| AF1 | Program A agreement card | Mock account A-1 references schedule S1, effective day 1. Practice annual fee field 0.8%; no later agreement amendment supplied. |
| AF2 | Program A brochure update | Schedule S2 announced day 10, effective day 30, practice annual field 0.7%. An illustration uses a 100-unit example and is labeled hypothetical. |
| AF3 | Similar program | Program A-Plus has a separate 0.5% schedule. Requested review date for A-1 is day 20. |
Question for the model
Which schedule has a documented basis for the day-20 A-1 review, and do the illustration or A-Plus terms establish a different account arrangement?
Show the reference answer and checks
AF1 explicitly links A-1 to S1, while AF2's S2 effective date is day 30, after the day-20 review. AF3 belongs to a different program, and AF2's hypothetical example is not an account value or amendment. The packet therefore supports S1 as the documented reference for this exercise, with actual account applicability reserved for an authorized reviewer. It does not establish a bill, investment recommendation or automatic later migration.
- Applying an announced schedule before its stated effective date.
- Treating a brochure illustration or similarly named program as an account-specific agreement.
Fields to preserve
- Program and account alias
- Disambiguates the arrangement.
- Agreement reference and schedule version
- Shows the documentary link.
- Announcement, effective and review dates
- Supports time-specific selection.
Test another case
Move the review to day 35 but omit any transition terms. Require S2's effective date to be recognized while the account's migration remains a review question.
Use original mock agreements. Exclude client assets, signed contracts, compensation details and product-selection or billing decisions.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
