Fabricated wire product data for AI crossing and endpoint maps
Other fabricated wire products have a defined Census scope.
NAICS 332618 · Other Fabricated Wire Product Manufacturing
Other fabricated wire products have a defined Census scope. An original mesh-panel exercise can test the relationship between visible crossings, endpoint markers and the issued pattern. Census fabricated-wire scope
Draw a fictional wire pattern and use strings on a paper frame as harmless props. Supply a numbered endpoint map and photograph two arrangements. One crossing appears aligned from the front but follows the wrong endpoint path. Ask the assistant to identify which view or marker resolves the difference. Include a corner hidden behind the frame.
Annotate endpoint, path, crossing, reference side and evidence view. Evaluate with a new pattern and marker scheme. Score a visible crossing treated as complete connectivity, a hidden endpoint guessed and reference-side reversal independently. The key should trace the documented path rather than infer it from a similar overall appearance.
Use original patterns and inert materials. Customer designs, licensed mesh specifications, supplier records and proprietary fabrication information need permission. Describe the path-review task, required views and checked examples in the licensing brief. Establish buyer requirements before preparing commercial files or further authorized capture.

A visual crossing is not an electrical junction
Colored strings on an owned paper frame represent separate paths. There is no energized system.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Frame map | Red runs A to D; blue runs B to C. |
| 2 | Top photo | Paths cross in the projection. |
| 3 | Side photo | Blue passes above red with a visible gap and no connecting token. |
Question for the model
How many independent paths does the evidence support?
Show the reference answer and checks
Two: A–D and B–C under record 1. The projected crossing in record 2 does not add a junction, and record 3 explicitly shows separation at that location. Retain the crossing as a visual relationship without changing the endpoint graph.
- Creating a graph node at every pixel crossing
- Switching endpoint pairs when the paths overlap
Fields to preserve
- endpoint_pair
- Defines each physical path
- crossing_type
- Distinguishes projection from junction
- separation_view
- Supports the no-contact observation
Test another case
Use a connector token at one crossing and plain overlap at another; require separate graph treatment.
Inert string geometry only; no electrical wiring, circuit design or customer drawings.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
