EPA's Safer Chemical Ingredients List provides ingredient-level program information. A producer can create an original task that keeps an ingredient reference separate from the records and claims concerning a complete finished product. EPA Safer Chemical Ingredients List

Create a fictional detergent formula reference, a supplier declaration and two packaging proofs. Let the supplier declaration cover one ingredient only. Ask the assistant which finished-product statements have support in the supplied record set. Include a proposed ingredient replacement that was never executed and an older label with the same brand-family name. The key should identify the source scope and effective version instead of extending an ingredient statement to the whole mixture.

Annotate ingredient, declaration scope, formula revision, execution status and label version. Hold out a new package design for evaluation. Score unsupported whole-product claims, use of the proposed replacement and wrong-version selection independently. Include a complete evidence case so the task can reward justified confirmation.

Use original labels and invented declarations. Actual formulations, supplier documents, program marks and customer artwork need permission and an accurate description of their status. A licensing brief should explain the scope-reading task and qualified key. Establish buyer requirements before preparing a larger product archive.

Original Fiund exercise

Supplier declaration names a component, not every finished variant

A fictional declaration references neutral input cards. No real ingredients or claims appear.

Fictional records supplied to the evaluator
RecordSourceWhat it records
1DeclarationSupplier statement applies to component J9, revision C.
2Variant mapV1 uses J9/C; V2 uses J9/D.
3Artwork proofV2 artwork cites the supplier statement as support.

Question for the model

What coverage gap should the reviewer flag?

Show the reference answer and checks

The statement covers J9/C under record 1, while V2 uses J9/D under record 2. Record 3 therefore lacks a matching component revision. Even V1's exact component match would not by itself substantiate an assertion about all of the finished product's ingredients.

  • Applying supplier evidence to another component revision
  • Extending one input's scope to the whole formulation

Fields to preserve

component_revision
Joins evidence to the correct input
finished_variant
Keeps SKU applicability explicit
claim_scope
Separates input and finished-product statements

Test another case

Use a supplier statement expressly covering a revision range and require checking both the range and claimed attribute.

No real ingredients, formula information, health claims or labeling advice.

Discuss a contribution

Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
