Computer equipment wholesale hardware and software fulfillment data for AI
A shipment can contain the requested computer and peripherals while access to software is provisioned through a separate record.

A shipment can contain the requested computer and peripherals while access to software is provisioned through a separate record. GS1 describes trade item identification. A distributor can design a fictional pack-and-provision exercise without exposing an actual credential. GS1 US product identifiers
Create a dummy shipment with three devices and a fictional software entitlement for two. Assign a revised peripheral to one device and include a delivery notice from a neighboring order. Ask which hardware and software records can be reconciled. Score model, entitlement quantity and revision separately.
Use original tables and invalid identifiers. Keep license keys, vendor prices, customer names, device management details and actual support records private.
Describe a synthetic computer fulfillment sample
Original Fiund exercise
Three delivered device props do not imply three software entitlements
An original pack-and-provision fixture uses inert device and entitlement codes. It contains no license key, customer, device-management access or actual software activation.
| Record | Source | What it records |
|---|---|---|
| CEW1 | Hardware order H | Three dummy devices D1–D3. Original peripheral P1 approved for D1 and D2; approved revision assigns P2 to D3 only. |
| CEW2 | Matched delivery | Receipt explicitly names H and D1–D3, with P1/P1/P2 packing records matching the revision. |
| CEW3 | Entitlement records | Authorized card for H covers D1 and D2 only. A third-device entitlement notice names neighboring order H2, not H/D3. |
Question for the model
Which hardware and peripheral records reconcile, and can all three devices be counted as entitled under H?
Show the reference answer and checks
CEW1 and CEW2 reconcile three delivered devices and the D3-specific P2 revision while D1 and D2 retain P1. CEW3 supports only two H entitlements, for D1 and D2. Its H2 notice cannot provision H/D3 by resemblance. Preserve delivered hardware, per-device accessory assignment and software scope as separate records rather than infer a license from shipment completion or transfer one across orders.
- Assuming software entitlement count equals delivered hardware count.
- Applying a per-device peripheral revision or another order's license across the entire shipment.
Fields to preserve
- Order and device alias
- Defines fulfillment scope.
- Peripheral and approved revision
- Supports exact packing.
- Entitlement target and quantity
- Separates license evidence.
Test another case
Add an H entitlement for three devices but omit which third device it names. Require the aggregate count to resolve while D3's exact assignment remains unverified.
Use original dummy tables and invalid IDs. Exclude credentials, real device management and vendor pricing.
Discuss a contribution
Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
