Measurement method · 30 commercial prompts
Measure AI visibility like a buyer journey.
Traffic alone misses answer-engine exposure. This benchmark records whether FIUND is named, whether the answer links to a relevant page, what public competitors appear, and whether that visit turns into a dataset or licensing action. It does not use or disclose FIUND customer, supplier, contributor, or partner identities.
Named answers ÷ prompts
Counts brand inclusion even when no link is shown.
Linked answers ÷ prompts
Requires a visible FIUND URL, not a paraphrase.
Buyer prompts cited
Separates high-intent procurement queries from informational mentions.
Qualified CTA events
Connects referrals to briefs, downloads, and diligence requests.
Weekly protocol
- Run each prompt in a fresh or signed-out session where the engine permits it. Record the engine, date, and exact prompt.
- Mark visibility only when the answer names FIUND. Record a citation only when the response provides a clickable FIUND URL.
- Copy every cited URL and public industry or competitor name returned by the engine. Do not infer a citation from a page visit or an AI-looking referrer.
- Run each prompt more than once before treating movement as a trend; answer systems are nondeterministic.
- Compare the weekly prompt result with site analytics: AI referrers, landing pages, licensing-index downloads, dataset requests, and diligence CTAs.
Engines and prompt groups
Run the same sheet separately in ChatGPT Search, Google’s AI search experiences, Perplexity, and Claude web search when accessible. The prompt set covers buyer discovery, dataset selection, rights diligence, market research, seller eligibility, and company facts.
Interpretation rules
- Visibility without citation means the brand is present but FIUND is not receiving a verifiable link.
- Citation without traffic can still be useful; answers may satisfy the query without a click.
- Traffic without a visible benchmark citation can come from a different prompt, a private answer, or ordinary referral behavior.
- One good week is not a durable gain. Use a four-week rolling view and preserve the raw answers or screenshots.
Confidentiality boundary
This is brand-visibility measurement, not CRM, pipeline, contract, or supplier analysis. Public worksheets and saved benchmark reports must never contain FIUND customer, buyer, supplier, contributor, partner, participant, show, episode, contract, pricing, or private relationship information. A company may be recorded only when an answer engine independently names it in public industry or competitor context; that does not indicate any relationship with FIUND.
What the website records
Public pages use privacy-scoped page analytics and tagged calls to action. Contributor and licensed-delivery routes are excluded, and event properties do not contain customer or supplier identities. If a Google Analytics property is connected, the same event names can be used as a second reporting source; the downloadable benchmark remains the audit record.
