NAICS 336992 · Military Armored Vehicle, Tank, and Tank Component Manufacturing

The Census manual identifies military armored vehicles and components as a manufacturing category. A nontechnical original exercise can concern administrative order and invoice references with all equipment specifications excluded. Census armored-vehicle industry scope

Create fictional purchase-order lines for neutral office supplies associated with a made-up manufacturer. Supply a receipt and invoice. Ask which line has a supported quantity and document match. Include a partial receipt and an invoice referring to another order with the same description. The key should preserve the remaining quantity and incorrect reference without inventing acceptance.

Annotate order, line, neutral item, ordered quantity, received quantity, invoice and document status. Hold out another invoice layout for evaluation. Score matching descriptions treated as the same order, billed quantity treated as received and a partial receipt marked complete independently. A complete positive case should cite the exact line references and quantities.

Use self-authored administrative records with no real programs, vehicle features, designs, capabilities, armor, production methods or operational information. Actual customer or government files, controlled material and confidential terms need appropriate authority and specialist review before proposed licensing. Define the clerical reconciliation task and checked key with a buyer. Confirm accepted scope before preparing commercial material. This exercise provides no weapons, vehicle construction or tactical guidance.

Question for the model

How should the receipt status be represented?

Show the reference answer and checks

Line 1 is fully received. Line 2 has received two of four packs, leaving two outstanding. Records 1 and 2 support a partially received order, contrary to record 3. Preserve boxes and packs as separate units instead of combining their quantities.

  • Promoting one line's completion to the whole order
  • Adding unlike office-supply units

Describe the sources you control, the task they could support and what has already been checked. Use the existing-data assessment for an archive or the collection brief for a new recording project. The contributor agreement defines Fiund’s licensing authority and compensation. A guide or fictional exercise does not establish an accepted collection or a sale.
