Acoustic conditions
The sound environment captured in a recording — room tone, reverberation, background noise, and microphone quality. Documenting conditions lets buyers match data to a use case, from clean studio speech to noisy real-world audio.
The variables that matter: room reverberation, background noise type and level, microphone type and distance, and any processing already applied. Clean studio speech and messy real-world speech are different products for different buyers — one suits TTS, the other robustness training. Specs record conditions per session, sometimes with measured SNR.
